kind of a strange thing to post in youtube. We are listening to a recording of a recording of an amp and a recording of a recording of a midi sound, both compressed twice through the video format, and coming through the speakers of whatever device we are using to browse this video (could be a cell phone!). It's hard to be further removed from "the real thing"
@lord124 Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the upload, but I just can't imagine how different these must sound "live"vs. hearing them in your Laptop, tablet or PC.
Any way to eq the model to have the bite & crunch of the real thing? The tonality is similar between the two but the real amp is definitely sharper. Does G'band have mic modeling as well?

A few questions:
What year of AC30 is that? What speakers?
What is the simulated speaker to mic distance on the amp simp? Is it equidistant?
Other things to consider, the way a mic pre would color things, ect...
Anyway, I enjoyed. You did a great job. It's interesting the difference that appeared.
The real amp did sound more... real/raw. I preferred the real thing.

I actually feel the software sound a lot warmer. For recording should be great.
I use this all the time for getting a variety of sounds on both a Strat and a Dot
