Very nice tutorial, but I was wondering if you brush the micro set on where the decal would go first instead of water, would it help reduce the effect of silvering??

Vinyls and decals are the same thing right? or are they different things? What about graphics as well? Or do they just call them Vinyl decals or graphic decals or vinyl decals?

Hi (Tony)?, i have just been getting started doing scale models (actually 1-2 months ago) but i was searching for tips and tricks on decaling and i think this one was the best! Really good tutorial!

But i think you mixed up the solutions, set is before (or the less powerful) and Sol makes it Really soft so it can sink into rivets or any other changes on the model?

I have one issue, first time i put on decals i had it in the Water for 20 seconds but then the decals wouldnt sti

I'm putting together a 1/25 GMC General with a quick-change log trailer on it. Just got my decals cut tonight. I'll be playing this along while I try to place decals on the truck.

@acrock21 no, my dream would be to work in a NASCAR shop. I like painting and making customs for display and animations, not playing but c'mon. Who doesnt like to recreate a Keselowski flip or something

@tonyryan1439 dude you should try and get into re forming plastic or i dont know how you would do it but make damaged cars and recreate the final product of keselowskis car if you got into the whole scene recreation you could make a scene of the race track and cars on it and stuff ( like the halo 3 believe thing is what im thinking of ) the carl edwards one would be fun to do .... thats awesome that you wanna be in that check out wyotech for tech school i hear they're supposed to be good
