Fighter jets in the Caucasus are pretty much useless, non of the three countries in the area are wealthy enough to make their airforce their main focus of attack. All three countries are small, and every nook and cranny is armed with top of the line Russia Surface to air missile systems. It makes no financial sense to send an 11 million dollar jet to war when a 50 thousand dollar Grous can shoot it down.

We just need to rule the ari after that airforce will strike with heavy bombardment of your higher grounds position and artillery also the Lachin corridor is going to get carpet bombed :) The only thing is that we are going to destroy our own cities but there is no otherway.

The US will not sell any F22 to anyone for at least a few years nor will any other country sell its new advanced multifighters due to political reasons. Besides Warplanes are not like cars, every plane is different and needs new education and training. So its not just buying advanced stuff you need maintenance, training and experience.

For now the MiG 29 is good enough to dominate over the Armenian Air Force.
