  • Coastal Scents dot com for black soap n shea butter, cocoa butter and oils...TRACK

  • I say that as the products you feature as mass marketed. The ingredient list for 100 % AUTHENTIC organic African Black Soap is simple and does NOT contain fragrance. Shea Terra uses the ABS as an INGREDIENT in its final product, whichthen no longer makes it Authentic African Black soap - but a Westernized re-named version. Check their ingredient list.

  • Please do try an AUTHENTIC African Black soap.

  • If you already have clear skin or dry skin this product won't be as helpful to you because its really for people with problem skin. You'll find that most people that rave about it have oily skin or acne prone skin

  • Hi, Shea terra was the first shea skin care line I tried...I'm a natural and organic freak lol!

I was 22 when I tried shea terra liquid black soap and I have to say that I really liked it but I did not see dramatic results on my skin, my complexion is normal and I'm only looking for the freshest, healthiest and even/velvety/porcelain result...As you can see I'm very perfectionist :-) I've never tried Osun but I might in the future, I'm a bit skeptical since the soap contains fragance...

  • @bohogirl10 I think it's awesome that you're into natural and organic products. Shea Terra was nice for me as well. It's not a life changing product, but I liked that it seemed to help with some of my oiliness. I'm looking for the same thing (even, velvety/porcelain skin) so let me know of any products that you try and love:) For example, I love raw argan oil!

Yes the Osun has a strong scent so I can see how some people would stay away from using it on their face.

  • @bohogirl10 Please continue your search - look for Organic and AUTHENTIC 100% African Black soap in it's raw from. The video is showing ABS made for mass marketing. raw ABS does not look like that nor does it contain fragrance or additional hydroxides (sodium or potassium)

  • I purchased dudu osun a few days ago, no burning at all for me! I think its because you left it on for a long time, and the lime juice that is in it will burn. What I do, is I put it on, do a quick scrub, and then I wash it off right away. My skin feels great, no irritation at all.

  • @mariedumpling I'm really happy that it didn't burn you. I suppose that could be the reason, but I still don't like the way it feels even when I don't leave it on. I ran out of my Shea Terra, and I found another black soap from Nubian Heritage that I love.

  • @IslandPersona Yeah I guess everyone's skin reacts to things differently.

  • where r u from you sound like someone in the caribbean. it sucks living in jamaica hey is it world ditrubuted or is it limited.

  • @sexybodykrizzy I'm from Jamaica :) I'm not sure if it's world distributed, but you might be able to find something similar. I heard the Pears soap is good, and I think they sell that in Jamaica. I miss home :(

  • I too have the black soap it stings my face I want to say the stinging of burning sensation is due to the lemon that is inside the soap

  • @moonradiate You know you could be right about the lemon. I ran out of the Sheaterra, and I found another brand..Nubian Heritage, and I'm actually loving that one.

  • Maybe the reason why it burns it due to the fragrance...is there a fragrance free available?

  • @dmps91 Maybe...I threw the box away so I can't check it. I actually found another brand that I'm loving. It's Nubian Heritage. Thanks for watching!

  • I agree with sardun1, you ARE adorable. One thing...it's pronounced "o-shun" (rhymes with "fun").

I love Dudu-Osun. It burned me as well, but after using it regularly for about 2 weeks, the burning sensation went away. My skin is now brighter and more clear.

  • @princessamina1 aww thank you :) That's sweet. Thanks for letting me know how it's pronounced. It's good to know that the burning does go away, and I'm glad your skin is looking better!

  • You are SO adorable!! :) Such a sweet personality! Ha ha... you didn't make me sound like a Grandma.. thank you for the sweet compliment! :) So glad you liked the Sheaterra soap!! :)

  • @sardun1 Thank you SO much! I really appreciate it. I appreciate the support and I'm glad you didn't think I made you sound like a grandma lol

  • Thanks for this review! I have never even heard of black soap before. This review was very insightful. Thank you!

  • @JustEnufEyes You're so welcome. I learned a lot about black soap here on youtube myself. There are many different brands out there so if you decide to try one I hope it works well for you :)

  • Nubian Heritage black soap is good.

  • I've heard great things about that brand. I have one of their olive soaps that I'm actually about to try so I'll check out their black soap next.

  • Have you ever tried Dr. Wood pure black soap in the liquid form? You can get in 16 oz or bigger says for way cheaper than the red bush soap and the 2 products are very similar. It can be purchased at vitamin and health stores or online

  • I actually have tried the Dr. Wood black soap. I was not able to tolerate the scent of it so I returned mines. I do love their almond soap though. Thanks for watching :)

  • Loved your review ..lol its so cute to see your bloopers. where are you located and whats site for that sheaterra thing.

  • I'm glad you liked it. Lol I'm glad I decided to leave the bloopers in so I'm not as robotic. I'm in the Southern part of the US. I posted the link in the sidebar for sheaterra. Thanks so much for watching :)
