What Is Your Favorite School Bus (Genesis or International)

For some strange reason, up to 6th grade the brand of busses changed 5 times, then changed again once I got to middle school and high school (when I no longer took the bus). For 4th grade we had the Genesis busses, and they were by far my favorite. Before them, we had these old beaten up Internationals that spewed black smoke and had a puke greek color interior. We even had the old Ward busses before those. All were fun to ride on (dispite the exhaust fumes), but the Genesis was by far the best.

Defiantly the gensis, but if it was any bus I would choose a 2000 bluebird tc-2000, when I was in school my district had all bluebirds except the spare buses, and I had a 2000 tc-2000 that was an awesome bus, nice sounding engine, same with the transmission and its whines. I'm pretty sure that district still has all those tc-2000's and they still run them, unfortunately now the new buses they order are thomas. Whenever I see a bluebird tc2000 though it brings back memories.

Between these two, it would have to be the Genesis. I used to ride one on field trips, but Blue Bird is my favorite. I rode a Blue Bird TC-2000 when I was in school and would try to ride one or the All American on field Trips, bus when no Blue Bird was Availiable I'd take the ole AmTran Genesis. On one such trip we raced the Blue Bird TC-2000 and AmTran Genesis from a 30 MPH punch, and the Blue Bird walked off and left the Genesis in its dust. The Genesis we had maxed out at 75MPH! Blue Bird 85!

International gets more mpg because it cuts the air more unlike genesis where the front hits the air head on causing Resistance meaning more fuel

Around my area, we have mostly Thomas, and very few IC's, I would say I like the Thomas FS-65, more than I do CEs, but I have only rode a CE once, I went though middle and most some of high school school on FS-65s.

Even though I grew up with the Genesis, I have to say that I love the way the IC CE Internationals look.
