  • Why is the alleged tutor teaching people how to pronounce "English" words in an American accent? This is incorrect. The correct way is how the English say "can't" surely,it is our language!

  • thank U 4 very good videos very much!!!! =))))))

  • I love this teacher

  • @doooly33 she's great :3

  • In proper english, as spoken by the people who invented the language, can't rhymes with aren't. This sounds a lot less whiny and nasal. The same pronunciation of the 'a' syllable is also used in most words that end in 'ant, 'ass'' or 'ance' and have one or two syllables. Try this pronunciation out on North Americans and you always get good service because they immediately think you are an upper class Englishman.

  • can u make a video on which,what,who,whom..pls

I hope you can teach us through youtube about punctuations and proper using it when doing an essay. Your teaching method is not boring especially when you are making a sound and us lol! thank you and more power!!!

  • thannkyou very helpfull!!!!!!

  • ProNUNciation, not proNOUNciation. Also, it's easier to avoid confusion when you pronounce 'can't' properly. It's pronounced 'karnt'.

  • I LOVE IT....

  • thank you so much. It help me a lot.

  • You've been of great help for me. Thanks!!!

  • i heard that can't must be stressed and sometimes the t is not pronounced

    is this correct o not?

  • @ainamelas yeah for sure can't must be stressed but you must say the t because if you don't, it sounds like can.

  • @EnglishLessons4U well thanks, when people speaks fast i can't really notice if they pronounce the t

  • @ainamelas It might be better to say the 't' is not released, but you can actually hear it as the mouth shapes the 't' and it stops the sound.

  • @ainamelas the t is always pronounced otherwise how would we tell the difference? Any can and can't must be quite dificult for foreigners to understand

  • You are really nice person

  • It is really amusing the way you carried yourself during the lesson. I really enjoyed your "weird-a-bit" ways. Please don't mind my candidness. But the most important thing is you have been able to put yourself across very convincingly. A thumbs up! I think I'll watch more vedios from this organization.

But it'd suit my purpose excellently if you people tell the difference, where there is, between British and American English. Whether it's a pronunciation lesson or a usage one or anything else.

  • You're so lovely! Thank you!

  • I would say that the most clear difference for foreigner is that when you say "I can", you pronounce stronger the word "I", and when you say "I can´t", you pronounce stronger "can´t":

    I can = "I can"

    I can´t = "i CAN'T"

  • Thank you so much for your Tutorials, I'm very happy with it. (:

  • the pronuciation of "can't" is beieng taught slightly wrongly as, "can't in England is alot easier to say because it's said as ...."cahn't", and "can" is phonetic

The american pronunciation is "cant", but the english is "cahnt" and is easier to learn.

  • @stuchka

    I agree, I like BE~

  • you have best way to teache english

    thank you alot

  • you help Poland

  • Thanks a lots I like the way you teaching

  • You know guys, this video shows a very important lesson. Because there's a word which is similar to "can't". It's "cunt". If you can not pronounce "can't" properly, listeners would get confused by your talking. listeners would understand what you talk in context anyway lol

  • You're still and ever great (from algeria).

  • you are so beautiful

  • good, helped me tremendously.

  • Why do English the letter "c" as the letter"k" .

Why do they write and say "I can " instead of "I kan"

Why do they write " cinema" instead of "sinema"

    I have always wondered this.

  • Your videos have helped me so much

  • You are right mrilialo!

It is quite obvious that your command of the English language is far superior to mine!

  • i live in toronto, pls tell me about"freak out " and "freaking" i listen this world people use in different ways i'm confuse .

and one more thing "was " & "had " both are past how can use it properly. ur doing very gr8 jod speacialy for new immigrants ...keep it up

  • Check out my new lesson on the uses of the word FREAK in English, just for you!

  • @11rabby Freaking is a slang word that is used instead of f**king.

And to freak out, is to get excited or be terrified

    A freak is a weirdo

  • @mrilialo I'm going to assume your statement is not in jest because it is awesome (deliciously ironic)

  • very good

  • thanx a lot....:)

  • I had fun a lot and learned too much! thanks

  • thanks, verry useful video. keep on downloading

  • Thanks for the hints!

  • lol guys.

  • Dear madam

    I have one query ??

    You can dance

    is it a question ?

If it is question what is its name

Because I think question should start with where or who or with first word of helping verb . But above in your exam is not

    Please clear my doubt

    Thanks in advance
