  • @firefox832...same here

  • @firefox832...same here

  • idk how he did it but the longest i can get mine like that to sleep is for 6-7 seconds

  • how long it sleep

  • what is the best string i think i have poly i need cotton right?

  • I got a walmart yo yo Duncan and I can't make it sleep,... I is it because I have not had a yo yo for like 10 years or do I need to buy a barring?

  • it easy to get it to sieep mine sleeps for 30 sec

  • i cant even get mine to sleep :(

  • I have been messing with my fixed axle yo-yos for a bit as of late. It just sorta feels cheap to do tricks with like the yyj speedmaker. It spins forever, compared a fixed axle yo like the duncun imperial. I just have no clue how yo-yo pros of old use to get spin times of like 20 seconds on a fixed axle like that. I mean yeesh, I am pulling only like 8 seconds a sleeper? Perhaps it was that there axle were wood?.. Eitehr way am going to keep practicing!

  • @ShunichiDomoto do u knw how 2 make a butterfly yoyo sleep lyk dat..mine dnt sleep

  • @june14211 Counts on. yours does sleep right? At all I mean, if it does. you just do what I have been doing for the past three days. keep practicing your throw, break your string in, use type 6 string for longer sleepers. if it is a wood axle yo, you can put alittle wax from a candle at the end. I hear that really helps. I would first try to practice your technique, then when you are ready practice the power of the throw. But if you have the same yo-yo as him. keep yoing dude, you can do it!

  • @ShunichiDomoto well lyk sumtimes its sleeps but only 4 a couple of secs most of da time it does not sleep..but ik how to sleep a yoyo but dis 1 dosnt an i hve da same 1 as he is using..an idk how da hell it opens up??

  • @june14211 Yeah, just your string and throw then. Believe me, I crack my knuckles enough times with a duncan butterfly not sleeping to know. Just takes practice. You can do it. Start with the basic stuff like break away and the long sleeper. Then move your way up to stuff like brain twister and split the atom. you can do it for sure! And heck if you are able to with a fixed axle yo-yo. You will make ball bearing play so much easier its not funny haha.

  • @ShunichiDomoto il keep tyning it o ya i can do break away, foward pass, walk da dog, rock da cradle, rock da baby cradle, an pop da clutch but thoses r easy tricks haha..do u knw if da imperial yoyos sleep 4 along time an if dey r da type where u can take apart?

  • @june14211 Then you are doing good so far. The imperial yo-yos tend to be better for loop tricks. What really matters is the axle. There is fixed axle, (What you are using.) That is the very basic and it will not sleep long. A transaxle, these take a bit of taking care of, most yo-s that have that can be took apart. Then Ball bearing yo yos. They sleep the longest but take alot maintenance, But you are talking about sleep times of like a 1 -5 mins if you throw good.

  • @june14211 If you want to get into string tricks and a take apart yo-yo. Get A fireball from yomega, (Believe me, it is a okay yo-yo to start with.) I hear the yoyofactory has the a yo called something like the 201 or something. I hear that is good. The Best yo-yos if you ask me, are over all made by yoyojam! They are mostly ball bearing yo-yos, But they do not take much maintenance, at least not at first. Pick up a kickside or speedmaker, about 15 bucks, for those. Chose one out of those.

  • @ShunichiDomoto ya i figured my was a fixed axel...yes i was bout 2 mention da fireball il get dat 1..i nvr herd of da 201??

  • @june14211 Yeah, fireballs are alot of fun, and they have a happy medium of being able to switch between learning loop tricks and string tricks. The F.A.S.T. 201, Now I hear that is a great yo-yo, it is wonderful at string tricks and has a good body type for it too. If I remember right too, you can change the responsiveness on the yo with a turn of a dial. Meaning once you are used to it, you can change it to unresponsive to perform string tricks... Though you will need to know how to bind then.

  • @ShunichiDomoto den ima get da fireball..dat othert1 snds lyk a good yoyo da screaming eagle is pretty good 2 but dey run bout 120 bucks

  • @june14211 If the yo-yo is a 120 bucks. you bet it is good... but not always great to learn on. They tend to work so good, it makes doing tricks real easy, so much so even if you make a mistake it might not come back and hit you in the knuckles. That is what my 888 is like. So only for performing do I like the high price ones you know? But they are for sure worth it. But one can make really good yos out of 9 dollar ones and or 15 dollar ones. Either way, good pick on yos my friend. fireball FTW

  • @ShunichiDomoto ya da cheaper ones wld be better 2 learn on..ya those ones make tricks way easier...ya da high price ones r better

  • @june14211 Yeah dude! Hey hey, you should go to theyo forums. it gives out tons of info on everything yo-yos. so if you wanted more info maybe on where to get stuff or something. that place has the info. I hope it goes great for ya and you have fun yoing!

  • @ShunichiDomoto ok i will! :)

  • @ShunichiDomoto 3 Dollars at walmart for this yo yo

  • @MrTJMoore89 Yes, I am aware. Still, while yes a good yo-yo, I like my yo-yo jams a bit more. ^^ I would gladly pay that couple extra bucks for a yo-yo of any of the yo-yo jams. (I am a yo-yo jam fan! all the way.)

  • @ShunichiDomoto yea im a big fan of yomegas(fireball, raider, and power brain) but i just got this yo yo till I get some spare cash or wait it out till christmas and hope for the best

  • @MrTJMoore89 That is cool. I also have some yomegas, they make great pocket yo-yos that pretty much do any kind of trick you need them too with a little practice. (Red fireball was a yo-yo I learned a lot of tricks on.) So I hope you pick up a cool yo-yo for Christmas! ^^

  • @ShunichiDomoto Grew up having a fireball mainly yo-yo i learn most of the tricks i do know on that why not keep learning from it

  • @MrTJMoore89 Yeah, fireballs are good yo-yos all around. But... They do not play unresposive very well, It is very hard to pull a whip trick off and or a slack trick off with one. (Not impossible, just pretty close to it.) So it's just a bit easier to pick up string tricks and such with a yo-yo jam you know? Problem with them, is you need to know how to bind after a while to get them to return, but then again, that is not really a problem at all haha. Fireballs are looping kings though.

  • nice ajilutey

  • It can sleep easy but how can he throw these string tricks with out it catching? I can't even throw a trapeze without it snagging up!

  • coooooooooooooooollllll

  • These tricks are all VERY possible with a butterfly. They sleep just great for a metal axle, just learn to play it!

  • i know that the duncan butterfly sucks at sleeping but how can he do all these tricks?

  • its modded

  • @domdom735

How? The axle seems normal, shoot the moon wouldn't be possible with an unresponsive yoyo.

  • @sk1p08 it has ball bearings but it still has a response system

  • i know rite

i tried to make it sleep by changing the string

it sleeps for a few seconds then it dies how do make it sleep longer?

  • @emoman7777

I recently found my Duncan Butterfly from back in the day. I slipped some poly string and can pretty much do what this guy in the demo was doing no problem. Sure, it only sleeps 10 seconds, but that forces me to get into the trick faster, execute it, and get the yo-yo back up. I remember the days when fixed axles were what was all we had access to.

  • @emoman7777

    Practice.

  • how did you make it sleep that long

  • @bunmagic practice

  • cool?

  • thumbs up if you thought he modded it

  • @davidbliz123 No this dudes just pro Lol

  • whta kind of rope didi you used

  • i have same kind same color

  • um, my butterfly wont sleep, and ive ben using it for hours, help?

  • @Chance8953 ok stay calm there is a way my dad tought me just take a crayon or a candle and unwind the string take the candle or yo yo ans rub it on the string then the wax makes the string slippery on the axxel it workes very well but, you have to do it alot

  • @Chance8953 unloop the string. untwist it some so that there is only one loop on it. when you are winding it make sure to catch the first part. search google for the yoyo guy how to make a sleeping yoyo

  • why does my butterfly goes back up instantly??? anyone help?

  • is it fast??

  • my butterfly will zoom back up and my imperial is better. ned cosmic spins are way better

  • i learned every basic trick with this yoyo it rocks ps; i use my yoyo really fast so the short spinning doesnt bother me at all

  • stock duncan butterflys have a looping axle with a string trick body. therefore, it is useless unless you either dont do tricks or you mod it.

  • Mod... He put a ball bearing in it.. My non mod butterfly spins for like 5 sec and my Duncan dragonfly spins for like 2min

  • how do you take it apart

  • you tricked out that thing

  • yeah i just bought 1 and it only spins 4 lik 5 seconds

  • @fuckamew I KNOW i wanna do all thes tricks but it wont sleep, can anybody help us!?!?!?

  • He must of modded it because my Duncan butterfly can't do all that. And I'm real good at trix

  • MODDED

  • look at that a grown man playing with a lil kids yoyo woptidoo they know tricks

  • It pisses me off how they know how to do those tricks. I can't even try them because my Duncan butterfly yo-yo can't sleep that much. 0:18 to 0:25 . Thats 7 dam seconds. I can't make my yo-yo sleep that long =[.

  • this yoyo is a peice of shit

  • how r u doing that my duncan yo yo wont even sleep

  • is the duncan butterfly better than the spintactics tiger shark?

  • no the tigershark has a bearing the buter fly is a fixed axle

  • how did you get it to sleepo cause i got this one to and i t woulnt sleep for me

  • @ctrams522 i fixed mine by making a wider gap - pull it a bit ... but when i tried the first time it cracked , although they are meant to open up ??? crap yoyo

  • im new to yoyos, and i went and bought a couple butterflies, but for some reason, i cant get any of them to sleep. dont know what im doing wrong..

  • if your new consider a mosquito it sleeps a lot longer and only costs 5 more $

  • @Wyrehedd242 try loosening the string. You can do this by learning the trick UFO or twisting it. once it is loosened try again and it will probably sleep.

  • @legomastter13 wtf

u need to do the sleeper to perform a ufo

  • @inkikyo76 not if you jerk the string right i can do it on a mini butterfly

  • @Wyrehedd242 there not the best sleeping yoyos, before i had this i bought yomega maverick and spins like almost 1 min but others spin moer and learn alot of tricks on my maverick, i dont recommend the butterfly if you REALLY want to learn or even do yoyo trix

  • @Henshrow how do you NOT like this yoyo? I understand that if ur used to the imperial design (like the duncan imperial, and the duncan tournamet) it is hard to get used to, but its still a good yoyo for string tricks.

  • to whoever wants to buy one of these just dont they are the the biggest fail for yoyo's since bloody rocks! the people on the videos either have them modded or are really really good with yoyos, i got one today an it cant unscrew, that is fuckin shit. the string u get wid it is shit, it can sleep, it can do any tricks. when you finaly get a trapeize it just spins out of control and knots. Problay the worst fuckin yoyo i have ever seen an Duncan are the worst make for yoyos. DONT BUY THIS!

  • i know i have on and it sucks

  • damnnnnnnn

my butterfly wont even sleep :/

    ill stick with my mosquito

  • that is a good yoyo
