You know that doing this is SO bad for the engine right? I mean, you do understand that the bike will overheat as there is no wind going through the radiators? The piston will heat up really fast, causing it to expand, press very hardly on the cylinder, and seize, and in worst cast scenario, crack the whole engine block. If you see increased wear on the plating on the cylinder, don't go complaining to yamaha about it.

@nccamokid dude your an idiot im a mechanic for srs motorsports ive been to college just for this shit, i know exactly how a 2 stroke and a 4 stroke works , and ive raced for 15 years and before the two stroke was faded out in motocross we actually did research for our gncc team on which bike got better fuel milage dude the two stroke makes more power for the size of the engine but it fires twice as many times as a four stroke does that means it burns twice as much fuel use your brain idiot

@brandonch25 depends on speed terain, and bore not to mention conditions, and i didnt mean to come at you like that, readin wht i said it sounded dickish, my point is that from my experience buying fixing riding and selling bikes with my friends a median sized 2 stroke has slightly better or the same fuel economy in the trials, as a four stroke of the same size. and im talkin bikes from 50cc to 700cc and from 1959 to 2010

@nccamokid well my experience in racing conditions with modern technology the 250 two stroke doesnt really compare to the 450 4 sroke anymore ... i know they pretty much quit developing the two stroke but as of now a 450 four stroke gets better fuel economy and makes aproximatley ten more horespower .. and i understand the 250 almost matches the 450's power but the 4 strokes have come a really long way and a 450 will turn faster lap times and burn less fuel doing it
