People this is not really a gay movie. The erotic scene lasts about 5 seconds. In the end Francesco dies as if he's punished for he's deads and as if that is the catharys. It was the most boring movie i ever saw. It s a pretentious movie and a total myth.

when I read the title 'hamam',I knew it was an arabic term ...and a gay movie clip in arab?!?!......I was like whoa!!!thundered!!...I mean arabs,islam strictly prohibits anything related to homosexuality,not even films....but then I realized ,it was from turkey and yeah,it's a secular nation......so,I figured out that things were ok...and I went like phew!!no offense but a lot of butt got saved from spankin'.....!!btw,where can I get the entire movie details,I am interested.

One of the BEST soundtracks ever written. Ever. Gorgeously mastered/mixed. I listened to it for months before I could finally see the movie here in the States. Fortunately the movie also did NOT disappoint

I also loved this stare moment. Hamam was interesting because it genuinely explored the "grayer" areas of sexuality via the fact that the Italian really does love his wife, yet was clearly bi or, unlike Brokeback Mtn. where I felt terrible for the wife whom I didn't feel was truly loved.
