a couple of years ago, my then 5 yr old cut his 3 yr old sister's hair... it was down to the middle of her back and to fix it we had to cut it all the way to her ears! I thought they were in bed, they were so quiet I thought they were sleeping. When I checked on them at midnight is when I noticed her hair was WAY short and I was about to have a heart attack. Thank goodness they were sleeping cause mommy was MAD.
