I have had an Edge for a year and a half now and I love it. The backseat is the most comfortable and the heated seats are nice. One thing I wish it has was A/C seats, but it doesn't matter. Great buy and I do give 2 thumbs up to Ford for making the Edge. I will reccommend the Edge for those that do not want a car that is overpowering, but want a crossover or SUV.

2010 Toyota Venza...hmmm, isn't Toyota going through some Mechanical Problems. Ford had problems with their Explorers ways back and decided on changing the Brand of Tires. No more accidents. The Ford Edge is smaller than a Explorer and larger than the Escape. My Edge has car-like comfort and get 27 mpg on the Highway (I drove from Derwood, Md to Philadelphia, PA on a FULL TANK and used a Quarter Tank size when I got to Philly!...better than my car!)

Ford Edge is great. I really like it. It is very smooth, powerfull, fast and it handles well. It has a lot of room inside. It is much much better than a lot of other cars. Moreover, fuel efficiency is great 260hp/24mpg.

i know in USA, the ford edge is a typical cars, very popular. Here in europe the most popular car are the 4 doors cars and the sport wagon. I made a video of a peugeot 207 sw, it's a typical european car, look at it. It's our "european" escape:) it has a mpg from 32 to 38, it's a 5 seat cars the sport verion makes the 0 to 60 in 7 second:) all that with 30 mpg and more, the engine is a 1.6 liters, 120 horsepower, but the car is light so the performance and the MPG are great:) check my video.

I have ben a car fanatic since I was 5, and despite living in France until I was 29, It was really difficult finding myself dreaming about owning a R5 FT Turbo or a 205 GTI ( I am talking about the Mid 80's here). What do really excite you right now between Renault, Peugeot or Citroen? Even their convertible are jut ugly. I will give 2 thumbs up to the 407 Coupe though, great car

I like their comportment on the road, you enjoy curves with the peugeot, the price are pretty good, and the MPG is good. I like the design , but it's very personnal. NOt everybody like it, it's not a common design. You like or not. I remmember those trips back in France w/ my Fiesta XR2 through the Massif Central, it was a lot of fun, but now I live in Florida, so no Hills and no curve beside a Highway ramp from time to time. :-)The 4007, I don't care for it. Il looks like one of those Cheap Mitsubishi that Jap manufacturer is trying to sell in the US. The C5 looks GREAT though. Check the Infinity M35/45. It looks exactly the same. Perhaps because of the more upscale nature of the MKX, I think it is better..and they're both a bit too heavy...but, collectively im sorry, I dont think American "muscle" flexes very well in today's automotive market...they're good for the first year and then break:especially ford. if i were to pick american I would at least go GM..but who knows..i can't deal with constant repairs...sorry...Japan is still running things...

In the meantime, Nissan and Toyota's, and for that matter, any asian import, are notorious for weak structure. A simple hit causes their frames to buckle and structure to become compromised.
