Just went 256, 258, 234 for my first 700 (748) the other night at leauge. Used this ball on every shot, even spares. I wish brunswick would go back to this stuff, all of their new stuff except the C-Systems are just awful. And for those who say this ball sucks, this isn't a ball everyone can use, its not one of the new ones where anyone can go drill it and throw a 300. It takes alot of skill and pratice. If its not working for you, your doing something wrong.
I bought this ball used at our Pro Shop, had the thumb slug replaced , took it to the lanes, bowled 4 games. 202-235-226-201. $40 ball. Holds the center of lane well, sharp turn on the back end and hits the pocket very hard. 1st used ball I ever bought. I want to get a good medium oil ball, thinking about the Columbia Pure Swing.
@OleBlues The pure swing is about to retire, so i would buy the ransom, or world beater. I have both. The ransom is great for med-med/heavy oil, while the WB is best used on Med/Heavy-Heavy. The difference between the ransom and WB is the ransom uses super tilt pearl, and WB uses super tilt solid. But, if you specifically want "medium oil", than i would buy the burst(i have one also). The burst will give you exceptional length, and a smooth arc on any condition. Im 13, but i will always use C300
as well as mika rolls with brunswick as well and agreed brunswick does suck hard dick BUT as you did say 2007 to 2008 is some of the best gear ive seen
ive had a 300 with this ball after probably at least 50 games. ive now bowled with it for a year and a half, it's still alive. i didnt even maintain it that much and didnt clean it for a YEAR.
oh, by the way, brunswick does suck sooooo much. THIS YEAR. but the 07-08 balls were some of the best balls ever. but that was before they started to suck nuts. have you noticed no one in the pba wins titles using their bowling balls anymore? hell, even sean rash and PB3 use the 07-08 balls this season
for all of those who think that this ball sucks stop being so obsessed with super hooking balls. this holds so well midlane on oily lane conditions, and almost automatically finds the pocket in the dryer lanes. it also almost never leaves tenpins and can hit light on the pocket and strike with ease. it also can be a good spare ball it thrown properly, and i use it to pick many of my spares. trust me im not closed minded about this. i also own a cell pearl and i like them both as much.
@claudethemonkey sorry mate not a brunswick fan lol, but finally someone agrees with me!! its not about the biggest hooking ball... they just think they look good coz the ball turns so much... throw a consistent shot you noobs!!!
wow you must not be smart THE MIDLANE IS DRY THE OIL IS IN THE CENTER OF THE LANE this ball baraly comes back from the midlane without leaving a ten pin and how long would this ball last 30 games thats why it was discontinued
sorry i gaffed i meant the oil in the center. but my point is what makes a good ball is not the hook, but the ability to find the pocket when you miss left or right. and by the way you dont need a virtual gravity or something to be a good bowler. so give this ball a chance.
That's good to know, man, that is really good. You don't bowl with brunswick equipment, don't you? I guess I am. But have you bowled with that ball before? Sorry, man I won't bowl with a bowling ball from another bowling company.
The Twisted Fury Solid helped me bowl the best series I've ever had. A 661 series. I don't care what anyone says about it, it's still a good ball if you know what it'll do. It's very predictable.
i have the virtual gravity, gravity shift, virtual energy and a el nino. they all work great but i dont care what anyone says the twisted fury solid is by far one of the best balls ive bought.
That's a good opinion you have, Storm900Global. It really helped me out a lot, because I knew how to use it. It does hit really hard if you hit your target just at the right spot. I was thinking of getting the Twisted Fury Destruction, because my father has one. But he didn't like the reaction he had with it. I just wanted to get the Twisted Fury Solid to improve my game since I was struggling with my other bowling balls.
Ya,maybe you should get a maxx zone.I got a twisted fury about a year ago,and it was pretty inconsistent,so i didnt know if i should buy brunswick stuff anymore.I got a maxxx zone at a pro am a couple months later, and its one of my favorite bowling balls i have, and it doesnt die out like half of ebonites bowling balls.I really like the new brunswick stuff.I have the maxx zone, twisted destruction, and smash zone, and they r my benchmark balls for tourneys and league.
The twisted fury destruction is much better than the other new.1.destruction.2.original.3.solid. i heard that the solid hits really flat, and most of the videos show it does hit weak. The twisted fury destruction is one of the best bowling balls out though.
Holy crap, that's a lot of revs, xESmith89x. This ball has been great for me, I've done a lot of great games with this. I figured out how to bowl with this thing after a few games. My average went up from a 175 to a 181 this year.
What people dont understand is that some balls are better played more direct to the pocket. This is not exactly the ball that you want if your looking to throw it gutter to gutter. I have min drilled fairly agressive and I still only get maybe 8 boards of hook with my 415 rev rate. If you want a ball that hooks like crazy get a Rogue Cell.
i have this ball and the pearl i have have a rev rate 428 and i have not trouble with the ball. i shot 300 with it the first night i used it. it is a good ball and i mostly use storm. but this gave me a different look than i am use to. just drill the ball for your pap and your track. the ball will hit hard!!!
i have the twisted fury drilled for max revs and im a cranker and it really sucks...im going to get the black widow pearl i used my dads and they fingers were to big and i do way better...brunswick balls hit like a feather
Brunswick has been a real success for me, tubeyou997. I've been bowling with this brand for 6 years now. I have been bowling with the Twisted Fury Solid on my Friday night league, it's truly a amazing ball. I've been getting a lot of high scores with it. So, I wonder what brunswicksucks to that? Hopefully nothing. But still, it's a great ball to have in your arsenal.
brunswick sucks i had my ultimate inferno and it died with about 180 games on it. my vapor zone is junk the only thing thats bad with it are pluged fingers and i had a storm fired up and the whole ball was pluged and shot big scores and my danger zone was junk
@brunswicksucks 180 games?? dude ever tried maintaining it?? try cleaning it before during and after your games, and most manufacturers recommend resurfacing after between 60 & 90 games... noob...
i did it sucks so mutch oil i cant maintain it i resurfaced it and it looked like a pearl after 20 games LOL i have a storm dimension with 250 games never resurfaced just sanded hooks like its out of the box
no....the twisted fury solid is the bomb...you need fresh oil lanes or any medium oil lane to use this ball...and the ball will hook really well...if the lane is too dry to ball will suck really bad
this ball is the best ball ive used ive had it for 3 months and my average has gone from 214 to 235 this ball will work if you actually know how to bowl
Oh yeah, what a crappy ball, not really. I was lent one by my Pro Shop Guy and i must say, its excellent. Im a low rev player and can shoot cross lane with ease. Also, brunswick makes the balls that are number one in sales for all time. So theyre doing something right. You need to try them before you can say they suck.
Well, seeing that you are very unintelligent, I trust no comments you make. Also, because you are, for lack of a better word, dumb, I assume your name is Brunswick. Then, your YouTube name makes sense. Because you do suck. Your Ultimate Inferno was probably bought at a garage sale after being used in 500 games. Or you live in the Slums and bowl on asphalt after your Mom "Oils" the street with Crisco. I know people will stand by me. You lose.
I have a lot of Brunswick bowling balls, they have been doing really good for me. I have a Intense Inferno, a Scrochin' Inferno, a Rampage, a Total Inferno, and I just order the Twisted Fury Solid today. I hope it does well for me.
i have a twisted fury and i bowl 10 games a week and even more when i dont have school and i have had this ball for about 7 months and all you need is a microfiber towel and nothing gets on your ball
i had a total inferno made by bruinswick and yes, it died after 2 seasons. Then i bout a cell pearl and was very impressed with it. Its very consistant. If you don't mind resurfacing your ball then get the twisted fury
i have one, it does insanely well on heavy oil. as long as you maintain it properly it will last a long time-by properly i mean clean it with a reactive cleaner after each day of use.
wanted to get this too, but pro shop guy told me that this ball dies down pretty quick, not worth investing the money on it... o.O scary.. decided to go for the BWV =) that should be great!! =)
no dude, what proshop do you go to? actually brunswick balls last the longest, hammer ball dies really fast? and on my layout this ball is really hard to control. this is the best ball on the market so far. it has the highest hook potential too.
