but you'd need some uuuuber fast car for that and one that can take corners quickly

well I tried with a maxed out Nissan r92cp and a Minolta 88c-v and I still lost. theres no car as good as the formula gran turismo....or that I know of, help anyone? even Id like to do this event lol

I am not the first to do so, but the Formula GT series can be swept for 200 pointers in the Audi R8 Race Car. I will post videos at some point.

For the NTSC/USA version,

The Formula GT car is awarded for winning the 24hr Nurburgring race and getting 100% complete. The only other ways are to transfer one from another gamesave/memory card, or possibly use some sort of gamesave editor device (I don't know how to do so, since I don't have one).

super work, i've done like 20 missions, stuck a little on this but i cbf working on ONE mission to complete, mighty effort though!

How the hell did you go around the hairpin with the camera looking backwards?

From the video's beginning, you'll see that this was a capture from the Replay Theater, not live play. You'll also notice that there's no rear-view mirror, which is present only when playing live. I used the lookback feature during the replay to show how close the competitors were when pulling through the hairpin... Thanks for watching! Have A Great Drive!

Technically, this was not a race event. The display at the beginning of the replay contains "Mission 16" (0'15" video time)...

But to reiterate, it was not captured during "live play".

Furthermore, the only "other race" that would have such a lineup is the Beetle Cup, which only runs one lap around Suzuka, has different colored opponents, and doesn't start with such a large gap between P1 and P6, but instead uses a "Standing Start"...
