Wait, stop the video on :14, then look on the left clock. Tell the time. Then Google nuclear doomsday clock and you'll find that the clock Heaven and that doomsday clock have the same time. Thats so trippy man.
meanwhile recent surveys shows that the majority of this planet believe in a deity. But dont worry guys atheism is rising fast and one day all the abrahamic religions will be art in the future
@whatyouchating Example: Nobody REALLY believes in heaven. If they did, they would kill their fellow believers so that they would be in heaven and not suffering in this world. Killing them while they're young will prevent them from committing sin. You might think "They go to hell for sinning". Nope. They ask God for forgiveness, God forgives them, and they're allowed in heaven when they die. It's technically a sin to not kill their fellow believers if they're suffering too. :D
@whatyouchating It is. Nobody REALLY believes in god. They just say they do because they want themselves and their loved ones to be 'happy' when they finally die. Especially if it's a cruel way.
Dear me... If people are trying to figure God out, let them do it themselves. Just stop fucking arguing, it's annoying as hell. And yes, I'm an atheist. But guys, come on.....
I'm fucking tired of religion fights. In the end, none of you can prove God's existence (or non existence). You could argue forever. Each person decides what to believe or not believe in so respect it damn it and stop shitting on the comments section.
@yolajosefiyo so when did you decide to believe in gravity? If you decided not to believe in gravity, should I respect that? Difference is, there's evidence for gravity. It's effects are demonstrable and repeatable everywhere by anyone. There's no evidence for a god, yet people go around and decide to believe in one regardless of evidence and then demand respect and power over others and those who refuse are the enemy, are criminals are animals....because a book says so. It's dangerous!
@viridismonasteriense I believe in gravity because it's proven it exists, because I see it for myself. That doesn't mean I have to limit myself to believe only in what's proven by science. Yet you can't compare gravity with believing in God, because the latter is much more complicated than that. You can live by what science says, which are facts, and that doesn't stop you from believing in God. You're thinking only in extreme religious who can't stand different beliefs and forget all the rest
@yolajosefiyo so you are saying you would believe in things in spite of evidence? If you propose the existence of something, you must follow the scientific method in your defence of its existence. Do you have any other ways of discerning fact from fiction? Science works. Saying god can't be proven by science is admitting you don't have a valid reason to believe, only emotion. If you make a claim a god affected the material world we live in, science can investigate this. Faith is dishonest.
@yolajosefiyo Do you care whether your beliefs are true? Then how do you suppose to discern fact from fiction? Evidence matters. Your entire plea is an argument from ignorance. Science doesn't have all the answers...therefore god? Science can't explain everything...therefore god? Making stuff up isn't valid.
@yolajosefiyo And actually, proving god should be way simpler than proving gravity. All you have to do is ask god and if he doesn't convince you, he's unable, unwilling, evil, indifferent, wants me to be an atheist (not abrahamic god then) or nothing like the god as defined by man or fiction. Pick one.
"You can live by what science says, which are facts, and that doesn't stop you from believing in God. "
Yes, because people don't believe in god because of facts, but because of emotion.
@viridismonasteriense "because people don't believe in god because of facts, but because of emotion."That's a fallacy. It doesn't break the argument. I wouldn't call it emotion either. I think it's completely okay if you don't have faith, but it's possible to have it and it's not emotion. I'm not religious anymore, but I did have it. Believe it or not it's up to you and it doesn't bother me if you think it's absurd or ignorant. All I'm saying is there's no reason to trust only in facts.
@yolajosefiyo Faith is wanting to believe in spite of evidence. It's not a virtue. It's voluntary blindness, willing gullibility. Wanting = Emotion. Do you not care whether your beliefs are accurate and correct? If you don't know for sure, the honest answer is: "I don't know". To believe in spite of facts, in spite of evidence, is dishonest, it's lying to yourself because you want to believe. There's no reason to believe in something that's never been proven to be true.
@yolajosefiyo Science is reliable, faith isn't. If you go by faith it will have you believe all sorts of nonsense and dangerous beliefs, it will have you be a follower of every god, since all theists believe on faith, not evidence or facts, and they can't all be right: but they can all be wrong. With no conclusive evidence for a god, all you're doing is betting your life and possible afterlife away on a hunch. I for one will do the honest thing and base my beliefs on evidence, not emotion.
@viridismonasteriense 1. That's your opinion, be open minded. 2. I'm a woman fyi. 3. I didn't justify because, just like politics and like I said before, we could argue forever. Stop trying to convince me when I'm not even religious. 4. You don't know me, so don't tell me what to do as if you did. 5. Victory? You lose? Yeah, I'm the one who needs to grow up.
@yolajosefiyo 1 skepticism is not closed-mindedness, just because I don't believe you doesn't mean I'm closed-minded. I just don't think your claims are based on anything of substance, only make-believe. 2 I can't tell your gender by your spelling, I'm only human. Mayority I assume is male. I am not converting anyone or preaching. I'm correcting bullshit and unfounded superstitious claims. 4 Truth doesn't depend on you. I'm not attacking you. Don't mistake criticism for a personal attack.
@yolajosefiyo yes, you lose this argument because you can't defend your claims. Don't pretend leaving is 'winning'. Pretending you're above it only makes you look sadder. Your apathy is worse. Your defence of faith is just the nail in the coffin of your indifference or complete not-caring for the truth in your beliefs. You just want to believe what you want to believe because you like to believe it.
Don't project your closed-mindedness on me. Are you unable of being wrong? How would you know?
@viridismonasteriense I am aware of a few defences for that argument. There is actually quite a bit of scientific information that suggest that there is a god that is beyond the level of existence in this universe. Although much of it won't fit here you may ask about any subject: dark matter, recent discoveries in atoms, the discovery that energy can be somehow made, and one of Einstein's formulas. There is enough evidence to suggest that there is a god, but an open mind is needed to believe it.
@Ralph12344 "There is actually quite a bit of scientific information that suggest that there is a god that is beyond the level of existence in this universe."
Then provide it. You'd be the first. If this god exists beyond existence it A doesn't exist or B can't be proven scientifically because science deals with things in this world, not any other. So both times this would fail. Claims asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence. Realize: skepticism isn't closed-mindedness!!
@Ralph12344 what is a god? You assume that there is a definition we all take for granted, yet there are as much definitions of 'god' as there are people. So define what you think a 'god' is, whether it be a magic king in the sky or an extraterrestrial timeless being that creates universes and somehow doesn't need a creator itself and provide evidence instead of just asserting there is evidence and that I'm closedminded for not being gullible towards your unfounded assertions.
@viridismonasteriense My idea of a God in my opinion, and please excuse me for being so late to reply, is that a god is something of perfection that normal biological life can't achieve. I belief that a god is beyond the level of existence and nonexistence like it is so perfect that it is the master of existence itself.
@Ralph12344 sounds a lot like the ontological argument to me, which fails because just because you can imagine such a being to exist doesn't mean it actually does.
And by what definition of 'perfection' is this? Existence isn't a quality, it's a quantity. How do you know there is even 1 of these perfect beings? If we cannot detect them being 'in this plane of existence' how can you say anything about it except pointlessly speculate? What reasons do you have to think this being exists?
@viridismonasteriense In my previous comments I talked about (or I may have frogotten to mention) how my belief stemmed from the scientific evidence, the philosophy of it, and my own ideas that I develop from it. My definition of perfection is something that can defy existence and go beyond the limits of space and time. What existence in this universe is in this universe is anything with atoms in it, but since atoms can be created and destroyed there may have been something
@viridismonasteriense (continued from my last comment) before it so my idea of something beyond existence is something the is beyond the limits of matter.
I could see Jesus doing something like that if he saw all what was carried out in his name. What a lot of people do in the name of God and Jesus go against what they preach.
I am a strong catholic and not only did I think this was funny, but also very respectful and quite sweet. Like Jesus is concerned for all our sins. And yes, he'll be fine. =)
@CollabLuvIn It was a part of God's plan (according to the Bible), that Jesus would be condemned to the cross. So how can you say that it was because of all the sinners?
Maybe you need to actually pick up your Bible and READ it.
@lavabodeoro what is the "unknown"? Death? No, the jewish, who Were the First ones to have faith in this God, thought all would end with Death, like atheists do.
@CollabLuvIn There are Jew jokes all the time. South Park did a few things poking at Islam
To answer the rest, it is because Christianity is so prevelent in this society that people do it. Besides with a name like God, it can be taken very genericl.
This joke could have been a lot funnier if the guy playing God (evidently the same guy who voices Skinner) had emphasised the right words and said it a bit quicker.
I'm a strong Christian and I thought that was funny. Know why? Because I know that both of us can take a joke and be good sports, I'm just glad SOMEONE on TV still had a pair before they started just becoming not funny.
@HotShotRuksy y? I am a christian(have been all my life) and i still find this funny. Thats the problem with people these days they get offended to easily. A little satire never hurt anyone.
@jd55192 It's not that, it's the Christian humor to know that Jesus was once the Lamb of God but will one day return the Lion of Judah. The humor behind this is that before he took everything out of love and that's why we love him. But when he comes back he's not going to take anything. That's what's funny.
@TheFoilGuy Returning as Lion of Judah, not Lamb of God—does that mean he returns violently, vengefully? And "before he took everything out of love"—what does that mean? He thought everything was well-intentioned, thought people all loved him, he was deceived and mistreated, or do you mean he literally took everything out of love, rendering "love" useless? When he comes back, he won't take anything—what? Like, he won't "take any of our B.S." or "he knows better than to assume humans all love"?
@TheFoilGuy And why's that funny? It's funny to watch Jesus take revenge? Like: "Ha-ha, look: Jesus learned not to trust Man, now he's Rapturing the good people and dooming the sinners to Hell on earth." Explain.
@jd55192 For God so loved the owrld that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. That's Jesus' goal, to make it so no one has to face the true judgement of what we deserve, sternal speration from God. When Jesus returns for his people in the Rapture it will be a warning to accept him as the world is judged by God, in which it deserves no less, but God still loves you and will use the darkest time in history to reach you.
@jd55192 And if you ignore him still you'll get one last chance, when he returns as discribed in Rev. 19 he will conquer the nations and rule with an iron rod, notice not fist. He is still our shepard, not our dictator, and he will allow us to choose our paths of either following him or the world, the only ones he is confirmed to kill with the word of God are those that choose eternity with Lucifer by accepting the mark of the beast. His rule will be righteous and perfect.
@jd55192 But there will still be rebels, an army against God that outcounts the number of grains of sand on the seashore. But if they choose seperation from him he will not force relationships, he loves us so much that he gave us free will, not making spiritual robots that do everything perfect because that's all they can do. He wants us to enjoy his love and choose it as well. So when i say Lion of Judah I mean he left a servant of his father and savior of man, he will return the king of kings.
He shouldn't really blame us for how Jesus turned out, he shacked up with another mans wife, left her pregnant and basically didn't care about the boy till he grew up and became famous.
Wait, stop the video on :14, then look on the left clock. Tell the time. Then Google nuclear doomsday clock and you'll find that the clock Heaven and that doomsday clock have the same time. Thats so trippy man.

@lavabodeoro what is the "unknown"? Death? No, the jewish, who Were the First ones to have faith in this God, thought all would end with Death, like atheists do.
GhostRider659 8 months ago
Do you not underdstand?
God is the oldest solution to the oldest fear. God is fear of the unknown. God is the fear of death. Faith is nothing but a type of fear.

@CollabLuvIn How do you know that Heaven is only for saved people and Christians?? Muslims have a heaven too, ya know? :P
atheistram 6 months ago
@atheistram yh but our heaven is only for saved people who are christians
and do progammes ever make fun of other religions
and why does everyone thing they can say omg and jesus christ in a term of swearing
why do they never say the name of gods of other religions
CollabLuvIn 6 months ago
@CollabLuvIn So you're saying that there are other heaven's out there?? If that's the case there must be other God's besides the Christian one.
You said it not me. "yh but OUR heaven is only for saved people who are Christians"
atheistram 6 months ago
@CollabLuvIn There are Jew jokes all the time. South Park did a few things poking at Islam
To answer the rest, it is because Christianity is so prevelent in this society that people do it. Besides with a name like God, it can be taken very genericl.
PhoenixAngel429 5 months ago
@PhoenixAngel429 well everyone thinks it's fun to make fun of christianity and use their name is vain
but if people went Around saying bloody allah or ganesh we would get done for being racist and stuff

see no-one can predict the rapture
no-one knows the day nor hour when he will return

This joke could have been a lot funnier if the guy playing God (evidently the same guy who voices Skinner) had emphasised the right words and said it a bit quicker.

rite i ain't being racist but why do nearly every show take mick of christianity things
but when they do things that offend other religions it gets brought up all over
I mean if they are going to do something they should at least use truth in it
CollabLuvIn 10 months ago
This episode is ridiculous the way the take mick of christianity
1. Is called Left behind
2. There wouldn't be a rapture bus
3. Nobody knows when the rapture and tibulations will happen

I'm a strong Christian and I thought that was funny. Know why? Because I know that both of us can take a joke and be good sports, I'm just glad SOMEONE on TV still had a pair before they started just becoming not funny.
TheFoilGuy 1 year ago 45
@TheFoilGuy If your a stong christian like a born again christian then you shouldn't find it funny
HotShotRuksy 10 months ago
@HotShotRuksy y? I am a christian(have been all my life) and i still find this funny. Thats the problem with people these days they get offended to easily. A little satire never hurt anyone.
diconbrown 10 months ago
@diconbrown Yes but it's blasphamy
espically that swing bit
and there ain't gonna be a rapture bus because no-one knows when it will happen so how can it be funny when they are making fun of it
HotShotRuksy 10 months ago
@diconbrown Tell that to Denmark.
funnystarchild 10 months ago
@TheFoilGuy Eh, The Simpsons still does it for me. And I bet that's how Jesus is - we (humanity) treated the Man like garbage while He was here.
jd55192 9 months ago
@jd55192 It's not that, it's the Christian humor to know that Jesus was once the Lamb of God but will one day return the Lion of Judah. The humor behind this is that before he took everything out of love and that's why we love him. But when he comes back he's not going to take anything. That's what's funny.
TheFoilGuy 9 months ago
@TheFoilGuy Oh, upon His return, he's going to brutalize us, mercilessly, and leave no prisoners. Hee-hee, what hilarity.
jd55192 9 months ago
@jd55192 ...Apartently you don't get it either.
TheFoilGuy 9 months ago
@TheFoilGuy Right, Jesus will come back during after the Rapture and kill all the sinners. It's dark humor, I get it.
jd55192 9 months ago
@jd55192 No, no you don't.
TheFoilGuy 9 months ago
@TheFoilGuy Returning as Lion of Judah, not Lamb of God—does that mean he returns violently, vengefully? And "before he took everything out of love"—what does that mean? He thought everything was well-intentioned, thought people all loved him, he was deceived and mistreated, or do you mean he literally took everything out of love, rendering "love" useless? When he comes back, he won't take anything—what? Like, he won't "take any of our B.S." or "he knows better than to assume humans all love"?
jd55192 9 months ago
@TheFoilGuy And why's that funny? It's funny to watch Jesus take revenge? Like: "Ha-ha, look: Jesus learned not to trust Man, now he's Rapturing the good people and dooming the sinners to Hell on earth." Explain.
jd55192 9 months ago
@jd55192 For God so loved the owrld that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. That's Jesus' goal, to make it so no one has to face the true judgement of what we deserve, sternal speration from God. When Jesus returns for his people in the Rapture it will be a warning to accept him as the world is judged by God, in which it deserves no less, but God still loves you and will use the darkest time in history to reach you.
TheFoilGuy 9 months ago
@jd55192 And if you ignore him still you'll get one last chance, when he returns as discribed in Rev. 19 he will conquer the nations and rule with an iron rod, notice not fist. He is still our shepard, not our dictator, and he will allow us to choose our paths of either following him or the world, the only ones he is confirmed to kill with the word of God are those that choose eternity with Lucifer by accepting the mark of the beast. His rule will be righteous and perfect.
TheFoilGuy 9 months ago
@jd55192 But there will still be rebels, an army against God that outcounts the number of grains of sand on the seashore. But if they choose seperation from him he will not force relationships, he loves us so much that he gave us free will, not making spiritual robots that do everything perfect because that's all they can do. He wants us to enjoy his love and choose it as well. So when i say Lion of Judah I mean he left a servant of his father and savior of man, he will return the king of kings.
TheFoilGuy 9 months ago
@TheFoilGuy Christianity is fun!

He shouldn't really blame us for how Jesus turned out, he shacked up with another mans wife, left her pregnant and basically didn't care about the boy till he grew up and became famous.
