I got myself a Roland GR30 a while back and it takes a bit of getting used to, to get that nice clean sound out of a vst synth. I'm assuming "synful orchestra" is a vst?
Hi what do you control at the same time, cellos, contra? Can you do natural pitch band with the guitar? Do you use an expression pedal? Good stuff, I also have synful but I'm a keyboard player :)
That is my guitar and my playing through an Axon AX50 midi processor. Think of it like an effects pedal, but ... like x1000. There is absolutely no backing track. Everything is live and coming from the guitar/axon. You can just barely here my picking noise too because I just used a regular digital camera's microphone, sitting on top of my conga :)
Dude, listen. I want to buy something that can convert my recorded audio signal into midi, for example directly in Cubase, or Nuendo, or something else. If I have the guitar signal into midi, then I can do whatever I want in Cubase. Can TERRATEC AXON AX 50 do that?
@filipdinev1 Well, not a pre-recorded guitar sound. You still have to play it through a guitar with midi pickups. You can buy a midi pickup for relatively cheap, Roland makes a good one.
hello. 1 question. is possible with the axon ax 50, or axon mk II, to use 2 instruments togheter, as for example piano and flaute (in the same fret) ?. and, if i buy mkII, can i to use a cable to midi to usb for to connect to pc and use the pc sounds, or i will have some latency,so better to buy ax 50? thx!
i m sorry but i wanted to hear only you not the orchestra 'cause i couldn't hear the sound of your 'guitar' i didn't like it that much but the song's good and it's cool that u know the chords .
Actually, that is the sound of the guitar. You have to think of it like a keyboard. The strings you hear are generated by the guitar. Midi guitars can play just about any sound imaginable. You just have to know how to play them...
I ended up getting an axon100 + proteus 2000. While I love the theory of what it can do, actually getting it to behave seems like a long and lonely road. Lots of extraneous triggered notes, weird pitch modulations, notes playing i never touched (sometimes an octave higher). Wow, if only it was as easy as Burr Johnson made it look.
Nicely done, this is a good demonstration of what the axon 50 is capable of. So, you're running into the axon 50, and then what? A laptop for the vst instruments?
hi friend. i want to buy the axon ax100 mkII. do you think that is good rack? maybe is not better roland gr 33? is possible, to create my personal sounds, maybe with a "campionator"? thx
EXCELLENT JOB !!

I'm not sure about the Mk II but the ax 50 can stack any number of instruments per note (or fret) that your machine can handle.
