I shot this concert in Chicago and just posted this song on my page. I had my mics attenuated to cut back on the distortion but it turned out nice. Also, If you want an exceptional version of this song google smoosh, NPR and dark shine.
their best song that i've heard, although almost all of the songs i've heard by them i've only heard live. anyway..this video is missing the first half of the song, but i saw them live on tuesday and it was excellent.
Repetitive lines: I was worried about that too until I heard the full version (this video is missing the whole first section of the song). It's an awesome song in my opinion! A work of art!
If 11 year old Maia loves playing bass and being in the band, I think she will develop her stage personality just fine. No complaints here. I think she is very talented and a wonderful addition to Smoosh. If she doesn't play bass on the next Smoosh album I'll be disappointed.

Even though this song is considered 'good,' and I am a fan of Smoosh, I think this is one of their worse songs. It's extremely repetitive, "And if you . . . I hope it's . . ." over and over again. They just keep doing the same line, again and again, and again, and then it ends.
And no offense to Maia, she really needs to stop tilting back and forth. For a lot of the songs Chloe and Asya stand still (or sit) but Maia just sways back and forth, and it's really annoying. (:
Fab Channel finally has this concert encoded. Sometimes the mix is a bit disappointing (sampler not loud enough for example) but overall, it's pretty good. This song really is one of their best so far.
Dosen't bother me at all -- she's cool! Having the camera's location at the left instead of centered or on the right side does put Maia more in your face. But I don't mind at all. Rock on Maia!!!
does everyone in amsterdam speak so loud while bands are playing? sheesh...

It's probably just me, but Maia's body movement is really annoying. She just stands there, swinging back and forth, and back and forth.

She's the only one with freedom on stage however, so it's more noticable

yeah, it's a bit distracting, especially cause everyone else is relatively still, and also her movements don't match the song very well.

I'm liking this more than at first. Great drum work. This kind of stuff is way beyond where they were a couple of years ago.
