  • Allmusic.com is a really good site for music, its a professional review site. Its where I go to to check out artists. Don't worry, it doesn't have viruses on it and I'm not putting up spam :P honestly its worth checkin out.

  • Awesome! Thank you so much for the links Sage.

  • "Where does anyone get their music from?" It's a good question. Music is such an interesting aspect of a person's life. But it's art. I've spoken to an interesting fellow named RowanFortuneWood who has addressed the issue of art, and we seem to have come to an agreement that there are two parts to it; the artist, and the perceiver. The artist brings their experience to their expression, and the perceiver draws from it their interpretation of it according to thier life experience. Not cut and dry

  • Thanks, very helpful links :)

  • woodyrimshot here: Do you like Chick Corea, Pat Matheny, Dave Weckl, David Garfield and/or Mike Stern? These are my influences that helped me right the music I am working on for my first CD I will actually sell. When I was younger I couldn't stand jazz, but I've grown to cherish it.

  • Thanks soooooo much... i know ive asked about your tunes before but this helps ALOT. I will be doing much music hunting =) thanks again!

  • I think the reason you get the "Where you get your tunes from" question alot, is because music is like by everyone lol. You could be white/black/christian/atheist, and maybe like the same music(Provided the lyrics aren't going against someone's ideals ect, but most of your music seems like trance/DnB) So, I think that's maybe why. Everyone loves music, even if they have different worldly views.

  • metal-archive + blogspot = metal

  • I'm one of those all rounder guys who like pretty much much most stuff. I'm not into T&B but even that has some nice stuff, I have to admit.

Also, it's important to recognise a music type, within it's genre, wether it's well written or not. Most people don't actually listen to the music. Like individual instruments in a song and how they make sounds in sync with each other. Or the pace of the rhythme.

  • I firsted your tunes and all I got was this lousy t shirt.
