It has just solved in Korea and Greece. Korean could solve with changing its main propeller shaft and revising its shape. It is similar with the case of HMAS Collins class. Like HMAS Collins, Type 214 class shall be the "gruesome killer of underwater" in ROK(Republic of Korea) Navy and Hellenic Navy.
There are not many details released about the technical data for the subs. Aegean sea is far calmer than the Pacific, so the modifications must have been less extended. I heard there are changes in ballast tanks configuration, and probably to propeller shaft and pitch. The 4th and last submarine is almost ready. Hope next year they will all be operational.
Excellant! Korean Navy also use that way(changing configuration of ballst tanks..). Problems was not severe...4th sub of Papanikolis class has already launched in Greece? Great! And, How is the Glavkos class(Type 209) now? As I know, the Hellenic Navy has the plan which integrates the PEM fuel cell to Glavkos class submrine.

German Type 212s and Type 214s are the best SSKs in production.
