No matter the state of the current Dark Age of Camelot, the boys and girls of Mythic Entertainment revolutionized PvP. If you deny that fact then you are just telling a lie to be controversial. No PvP has ever been the same as DAoC and likely never will be. I agree ToA killed the ease of clicking a couple buttons to win, but I highly disagree that it "killed" DAoC. I loved ToA, the versatility it brought to the game changed everything that was. About a year ago I quit. I miss it very much.

yes it was 200 on merlin now its 500+ on week days when i get on daoc is comeing back finally more hibs we are always under populated on merlin but we always do good

Dark Age of Camelot is not dead. the average numbers have gone up ~200 over the past month and are increasing by the day. Don't lose faith in the best game ever created. You know that nothing will ever compare to your "baby" DAoC. You know WAR doesn't give you the drive to get on everyday like DAoC does, you will see.

I leveled my warrior priest in WAR up to 40 only to discover there is not a significant point to keep sieges besides getting loot. Now i have never played DAoC, i have always wanted to though. I have played DAOC since it's release, trust me DAOC is a lost cause now a days which is why i am switching to War. But yes,DAOC was a fantastic game back in 2001 the ToA expan killed it. after that it has never been the same :(

You've played since release and got 4 50th levels? I have 18ish just on gaheris...and thats not even the great part of that. Various legendary crafters through out the old RP servers Percivel, then classic servers on ector and lamorak and Gaheris. And thats not even anything... an RR9-12 would be something. Anyway my point is if you started from release which i joined about 4 months after you should have alot more to recall about.

it's one of the Dragonslayer shields, instead of choosing the sword/staff if you pick the shield its what you get. It has some mad Stats to it.
