This was the album I've been waiting for. Hirschpeter called it "handmade." A good word for it. The quartet version of the NGDB means we get to hear Jimmie sing, and Bob gets funky. This is how I like 'em.

Not just a great making-of; it´s one of the best albums I´ve heard in a long time - and I love all kind of music. The songs are fresh, funny and handmade - and they seemed to have a lot of fun making it.. "Ressurection" is a wonderful song. So sad they never show up in Germany.

how many performers out there now can go into a studio and do it "live" like these guys can? This is one of the reasons these guys are so great and so much fun to listen to. Love those "making of" videos too.

I have loved and followed these guys for 30 years and the sound is great, but pleeeeese, where's Ibby? For me, he was, is, will always be the heart of the band, 'Nitty 'Gritty' or not!!
