@Bluestreakteam No budd you certainly can't, the wavelength on the laser is designed to only read CDs, not DVDs. DVD wasn't even our in the saturn era.

i have shit loads of games from a website called megaupload. it has every game out for the Saturn i think. i got that Mr bones :) but now I'm board of the Saturn and its back in the garage. had fun loading the free games using the disk swop trick tho. i got all the sonics too

when i do the second swap, the disc doesn't boot direclty, in brings me to the cd audio menu, what am i doing wrong?

I think its got something to do with the format of your disc, you need at least 1 audio track present or something like that. I forget the actual details but ill ask on IRC and let you know! Thanks

mod chips are cheap & easy to install. Just get one of those. It'll save wear & tear on your CD drive.

You no on the mk-80200A you only have to swap the once.

First backed-up game, when the laser moves once take disk out.

Remove BU disk and replace with real game, the saturn will now search for copyright.

The laser will move 10 times, I call them clicks.

On the tenth click quickly remove the disk before the game goes on the sega logo about 0.4secs after the tenth click.

stright after this it leaves you with about 0.5 sec to swap back the Backed-up disk, and there u have it,
