Scrubs should have never done this scene! Dr. Cox attacking the subtlety of the show, explaining why is everyone funny. I love Season 6, but this scene although hilarious was like they completely ran out of ideas. Of course I liked it, but always makes me think this way.

Scrubs should have never done this scene! Dr. Cox attacking the subtlety of the show, explaining why is everyone funny. I love Season 6, but this scene although hilarious was like they completely ran out of ideas. Of course I liked it, but always makes me think this way.

I don't believe they ran out of ideas when they did this scene. Lots of shows and movies pull stunts like this. Its a post-modern technique to 'remind' the viewer they are watching a TV show. I find stuff like that humorous
It is also seen in the episode where Dr. Cox is basically acting like House. At one point he points to the camera, stating that 'there are no cameras over here' and goes on about how doctors don't look like models

That House thing has nothing to do with this. Scrubs is not just one of 'lots of shows', is [scrubs]! The show that stands out from the rest. OK, so they didn't ran out of ideas, but they were very lazy when doing this scene. Sub-par for the Scrubs writing. Come on, everyone knows this is the third or second worst episode of Scrubs, you gotta admit it. I still adore this show, though.
