@yoyoyo88665 Kind of the problem, I saw a few FFs and they were rather much alike. The branched off series of Tactics were nice, but the originals? Not so much a fan. I suppose there's a lack of creativity/originality that makes the series rather... general. Baten Kaitos had a unique touch and atmosphere. There was a serene beauty and solemn dread all through every single location. It's something which FF lacked.

Either way, Baten Kaitos was an amazing game. And this musical piece is excellent.

While I enjoyed playing the prequel that they made later - it was humorous and light and fun to play, of course with great music - I did not much like what they did with Malpercio. You have to look at it from the historys view. the fact that malpercio was something OTHER than what was thought is a major plot twist that literally spans both games. Malpercio was a rebellion that lost, and since history is written by the victors, they're going to be called as a calamity to life. They're the perfect excuse for explaining why the lands float. Now granted there r discontinuity errors between games
