There not sparring for the first time there sparring each other for the first time! the technique is there and the flow and relaxation in sparring is there wouldnt be surprised if they are ring fighters
Muay Thai itself always struck me as a really cool art... The problem is it's practioners seem to be very elitist. I see that a lot in good Sport martial arts, BJJ being the perfect example.
I love thaiboxing and I know many guys that are kind of elitist. Most of the guys I've met that are really, really good are very humble, it's usually the pretty good ones or those that are OK, that are cocky. Karate dude fighting thai rules would get owned just like a thai guy prob would playing by karate rules. In the end it comes down to the individual.
blackstar. being experienced i must say that the people who rant and ridicule and criticize; the ones who think theyre tough as nails and preech it over the internet are the amateurs. people who are good at what they do, in whatever it is they do dont have to constantly prove how good they are. they know, so they keep their words to themselves. i gurantee you the pros and the good fighters, whether karate, or boxing, or muay thai arent elitist.
you both need to keep a tighter guard, lousy kicks, mohawk guy needs to block kicks more and not turn away from opponent. you need to clinch at some point its not muay thai without it. try harder train harder put some effort into it!

nah ,i think thyre doing well,a lot better then young guys ive seen at my gym ,they should keep at it ,Rome wasnt built in one day.

yeah your tips are pretty good, but this is their first time sparring so I think they are good.
