It is debatable. Sasha Cohen is the master of artistry, choreography and composition. This is still a nice performance by Michelle I won't debate that.
@HowsaBowsaYowsa I disagree with that statement. There is NO WAY that Sasha Cohen could have skated this program better... Michelle Kwan is the greatest artistic figure skater of all time. She was much more versatile and emotional with her artistry (I always found Sasha's artistry one note).
@HowsaBowsaYowsa Sasha Cohen is a master of falling down. It is debateable that she does so artfully, though I concede that it may be the fact that it is actually intended to appear to be the deliberate result of choregraphical composition.
It isn't debateable that Sasha Cohen is in any sense the equal to Kwan's obvious superiority to the entire field of skaters of at very least that era.
How many Nationals did Cohen win again? How many Worlds?
@Karosanyo When she skated like this, no one -- to this day -- could or can touch her. And that isn't even debateable.
(Compare this to the "World Pro" skate of this same program, also from late 1998. I find it impossible to determine which of the two is the better; that is testimony to her consistency. Even though I prefer the "World Pro," in part because of the enlightened and enlightening Bezic commentary.)

A breathtakingly beautiful and masterful performance. No other female skater can touch Michelle Kwan's artistry and emotion on the ice.
