Ok, so I just followed the instructions and internet tethering is now available! WOOHOO, but unfortunately MMS is not and there is no way to edit the profile after you download it on your phone to enable MMS. If someone figures out to do that let me know!

i'm pretty sure there are no "fees" for tethering, however, if AT&T sees a sudden spike in usage say by browsing on your laptop using 3g for a couple of hours every day or downloading a ton of music or movies, they may get suspicious.
