I love these dark colors and creative choices. I think Karl took some of the leg options from Balenciaga which their so well known for, but he managed to pull it off entirely different. I love how everyones bringing back like the 80s and 90s but in a completely different way.
The House of Fendi is historically a furrier. And if aesthetics are ethics, check the label on the clothes you are wearing right now, and justify the human and animal rights issues involved with their manufacture.
Fur is amazing. I think that just because people dont like it, they shouldnt deny its presence and almost like immortality. People have been wearing it since like the first humans and it was ugly and primal, but since like the 30's and 40's people have been in love with the glamour and lucury of fur.
I really wish designers would use FAUX FUR in their collection rather than actual dead animal's fur. It is really sad to know the number of animals killed just to make one coat. Majority of them are skinned alive. It is really sad how some designers are destroying or natural ecosystem when we really should learn to preserve greenery and wild life.
I love how they ran with the risk of using fur in such a hostile time; current event wise. It was so tactfully and verbally overt, which made me examine the pieces even further seeing amazing construction & combination of materials-- Screaming Warrior in the most fierce & fearless elegant way.
