HI, thx for the intrest, all the cutters i use are carbide and can be used on certain metals, and as long as i bring the speed down to match and use coolents to stop the cutter from getting clogged up and make them last longer.
the lines are due to the step over rate and are very small, after the cutting was finished i spent know more than 2-3 minutes with some 240 grit then 600 grit sanding paper , the wood felt like glass,
thank you for your kind comments, the heating issues are not that much of a problem in the winter but in the very brief summer we do have they do get a bit toasty if you need any help give us a shout
Sort of the inverse of a 3D printer, but isn't this almost more 2D? can you make "free standing" 3D objects? a head or bust?

Hi,
Firstly great machine!
Is it possible for you to take a video walking through the different parts of the machine and how you made them?

hello sir.are you useing a standard endmill ball nose cutters or are they specificaly for woodwork.
i also noticed the lines left after the 3mm finishing is that due to step over rate or is it unavoidable?thanks
