  • chevy all day!!!

  • my mom owns a ford f150 and that truck dont move when you try to burnout..but its got a lift kit with brand monster tires.

    -Dylan-

  • @musicgurlforeverr Regear it to 4.56s and it will do it for sure. Some engine modifications help too, full exhaust ( longtube headers ), custom tuning..

  • oh yea ford power

  • Alright im confused now, whats the difference between a posi and limited slip? I always thought limited slip alternated tire rotation when tire one sensed a loss of traction...Therefore say the RR started to slip then the RL would kick in to help gain traction. A good explination would be appreciated. By the way niceeeee tire roastin!

  • exhasut sounds shitty ya'll need to put 40 series flowmasters under that

  • @kosmosive umm.. no.. Flowmaster sounds like shit. Cheap tin can baffled muffler.. No thanks. Barely toned at WOT and no deep tone under WOT either. Ive since then switched to Dynomax Bullets. Loud and deep toned. Nothing beats it.

  • @DarrenWS6 Ive got a simple set up but love the sound I get out of mine, got a 02 5.4 have a couple vids on my page, but, I run 3 inch with cats into single inlet dual outlet 2.5 back into 3 inch tips, magnaflow and in my opinion i like the way it sounds

  • exhasut sounds shitty ay'll need to put 40 series flowmasters under that

  • now you need new tires lol

  • @blackmetalchevy Currently is leveled, on 20" XD Monsters wrapped in 33"x12.5" Toyo M/Ts. Love it.

  • is that a posi rear

  • @camden199 could say that. Its limited slip which is dual wheel power, except on turns in 4wd

  • Super clean looking truck I like the looks of how you ran your pipes looks much better rather then tucked under the bumper, and Nice color keep up the good work man!

  • @tipdowntipup thanks, much appreciated.

  • ey bro how did u turn your fog lights by them selvs?plz reply

  • @soccer13kid It wasn't just the fogs alone, was the parking and tail lamps. On 04+ models you can run the fogs and parkers without the headlamps. 03- models cant unless you fix the switch.

  • @soccer13kid i got an 04

  • @soccer13kid is it an STX? Those wont let you do anything, as basic as it gets with an ext cab.

  • @DarrenWS6 no

  • anybody know where i can find a kit to change the gear ratio in my axle from 3.31 to 3.73 with posi??

  • @spk9grsch Go to a performance shop and ask what they can do. You can buy the parts online and have installed locally by a trained installer. If your 2wd your in luck in price since you wont have to change the transfercase differential gearing too.

  • This truck is awesome, and the posi rears are freakin amazing, my truck starts to go sideways when i do a burnout like that, they are just amazing trucks lol

  • @mysticalfirelord lol yeah

  • it must be nice having a posi rear

  • @stuntrider15 Yeah it has its benefits, especially going up hills quickly, and pulling up the driveway smoothly. My buds truck with an open rear usually scuffs when pulling in at the angles mine does. My first truck had an open 3.55 and I remember the struggle of going up hill.

  • @DarrenWS6 that is exactly what my '01 supercrew has. an open 3.55

i was thinking about getting a posi 3.73 or 4.10 rear but i'm hearing that a locking rear is better

  • SOUNDS AHHHMAZZING

  • @Mustangmike232 Thanks. Its louder now. And I got new wheels and 33s since then. I cant wait till I can finish off these 4 stock wheels sometime this summer.

  • awesome! nice choice of wheels. i love hearing the tritons achieving high RPM i wish they would come stock with a rpm achievement of at least 5700rpm but i guess that defeats the torque purpose. but some people don't know that if u want to get a 6grand out of it, just put in 1st and shift it yourself, it will get up there. especially the 4.6

  • you can do that a lot easier in a silverado in my humble but yet accurate opinion ;)

  • @chevyman8329 my 2500HD couldn't do it until the treads wore down, I'm also now custom tuned and raping bow ties, but last fall I got Toyo M/Ts so racing isn't that impressive anymore.

  • muy bueno me encantaria hacer eso pero las llantas estan muy caras o si no haria eso cada vez q saliera por el barrio

  • gracias, fue divertido. terminó estos bordes viejos para nuevas llantas

  • Good job! Bet that was a beating to clean up though ;) Did that on my Buckshots before I got new 33" STT's Made for a cool vid!!!

  • lol, next spring i'll probably finish these off since i now have 33" Toyos

  • Oh yeah!!! Run em till they pop!! LOL Always makes for a good vid. Love doing the burnout ritual right before the tire upgrade :)

  • yeah u'd be surprised how bad one little burnout is for an automatic truck. very low oil pressure going to the rod bearings, combined with super high stress is NOT good, and it causes lots of painful slippage in the tranny, and puts high stress on all drivetrain parts. just a little trivia, no hate, lol. I love burnouts, but not in a truck, or any automatic for that matter

  • lol ok, good info to take into mind.

  • That's a great way to burn up your tranny and make the clutch packs in the differential to take a shit.

  • awesome

  • was this the only burnout you done? lol tires aint cheap. but all and all nice burnout, a lot of people don't give enough credit to the 5.4 triton.

  • yep, only one. I know have 20" XD Monsters with 33" Toyo M/Ts. $1400 in tires, you'll never see another burnout from my truck again lol.

  • nice i bet it looks really good with them wheels and tires. 1400 in tires lol yeah i wouldn't do anymore burnouts either.

  • congratulations you just shortened the life of your truck!!

  • and from one little burnout? sweet.

  • Nah, I dog the shit out of my truck and at 90K miles later it's running better than ever! Though it's not even close to being stock..all parts installed are designed for high speed and racing ;-)

  • man u got to lift that bitch and put big mudders on it aw is it 2 wheel drive

  • no its 4wd, and if you wanna see that so bad then buy it for me, i have funds and responsibilities elsewhere, and i do not want to lift, its currently leveled and i'm putting 33s on it soon, thats enough for me, any higher and its use as a working mans truck diminishes.

  • love the truck my grandpa truck is the same except he has 22's he wud b pissed if i did a burnout on them. look at my vids an u will see the truck

  • darren first off your exhaust sounds real good...second i got the same exact setup with the 3.73 LS but im runnin 33bfgs on 20's...would that be the reason i cant roast my tires?

  • ofcoarse, BFGs aren't meant to spin out, the tires on my truck here are the pos General tires in the stock size 255/70/17. I got a custom tune since here and its even more aggressive, look into some custom tunes.

  • yeah thats what i figured.

  • as always nice job, good smoky burnout darren

  • thanks, hopefully there will be another here soon.

  • what type of diff is gunna give you a 2 wheel burnout non slip or lsd? ive heard so many things and i no u would know?

  • The LSD will. Its locked until its cruising. Mines a LSD and I left two marks here.

  • i love the whistle of the x pipe

  • Awesome truck and great video man! 5 stars!

  • thank you.

  • i do this every day with my f 150

  • you go through tires fast dont you

  • nice man...haha ay man i know i dont have the power like that beast, but if i got the non-trd 2009 sr5 v6 4x4 tacoma, and it comes with push button limited slip differential can i lay down dual tracks like you did? LSD = posi trac burnout marks, right? also, will lockers give you a huge advantage over LSD in most cirucmstances that dont involve rock or hill climbing?

  • Yes LSD is the posi traction. A locker is full time posi, great for traction and climbing, but general driving its not so good for. With LSD it will act as an open rear during cruising, and when the power is needed the rear locks both together.

  • nice burnout, im guessing its an auto because it died down after a bit and then kicked back down as you drove off.

  • Yes it is automatic but thats not why it did it, I manual shifted, started in first but held the brakes too tight ( this truck has great strong brakes ), i let off and they spun better, then i shifted to 2nd to spin them quicker.

  • its pretty easy to burn out on roads where the tar has seeped to the surface, giving an oily mess to lay some black nice marks. doesnt eat up your tires either

  • oh cool. I just do them on dry pavement. I lost about 60% of my tire tread from this burnout.

  • hell yeah SMOKE EM!!! GIT R DONE BOY U GOT R DID BY GOD

  • lol thanks!

  • nice burnout man, my dad has an 07 with borla duals, k&n intake and just recently an edge evolution tuner, its a whole new truck now. after my frontier expires im thinking of getting me an f150. your truck sounds great, i'll see if i can get a sound vid of our f150.

  • thank you. Thats cool, Borla is an excellent exhaust.

  • you fog lights look pretty good

  • uh thanks. just stock fog lamps though.

  • not gonna lie, one of the better videos ive seen

  • thank you.

  • thats the road you should punch it on

  • noo, too many twists and turns, and risk of a deer leaping out. I have a road picked to do stuff on, just not doing nothing in this cold ass weather.

  • nice. sounds very good as well

  • damn, that was a good one.

  • Sounds great! Nice burnout, too. ;-D

  • thanks.

  • sounds badass i would do more with my truck but tires and gas are kind of expensive lol

  • lol yeah, I'm planning new tires so what the hell haha

  • Bilstein 5100? If theyr better for the truck, how much do they cost, and where do i find em?

  • Google them, various companys sell them, I bought a Bilstein kit for $370, included front 2" level struts and new rear shocks.

  • hey Darren, i got a truck about like yours (2005 F-150 4x4) an i was checkin out your videos, an thought i might let you know, that on e-bay, you can get leveling kits for your suspension for low as $80 for these trucks. i got the $90 aluminum kit, and it works/looks great. It was well worth my money, so if your thinkin of levelin it, check those out. you can install the kit in 1 hour, without even using spring compressors. nice truck man, looks/sounds sweet.

  • I'm well aware of leveling kits. The coil over that you speak of roughen the ride, and lead to pre-mature ball joint ware. The best way to level these trucks is with the Bilstein 5100 series leveling struts which I have, just dont have the side money to install them, and my good fuel economy is nice to have anyways.

  • great burnout man, thats the way to get rid of them old tires, i like how you think

  • hell yeah, thanks.

  • Nice burnout man. And I know with those 3.73s you can lay marks thru-out the whole first gear. Lol. nice vid man, keep em commin.

  • Do you have a line locker, I've been trying to do a good one, but I don't want to hurt the back brakes

  • Stock 3.73 Limited Slip

  • you prolly won't hurt your rear brakes because they only do about 15% percent of braking in a truck... so you would really really have to sit on the burnout to do a whole lot of damage(like to where you think your tires may explode amount of time) any damaged sustained will be so miniscule that it won't matter... so no worries brother... smoke them bitches... lol...

  • Just switched fronts with backs, (No tread left on the backs loads on the front, need new tires anyways) I think I might post a video

  • Thats what I'm doing, just need some nicer weather again, I will probably get 2 or 3 more in before I get new tires.

  • I can't seem to find a good place in anchorage to recored, (too many fuckin cops!). I did get a good 2 min burn out on a red light :P it was awsome, I had some friends watching in other cars, I'll do one or two more, might be getting some slicks from a friend (with

  • Our trucks actually do alot more breaking than you think. According to Ford, it's about 40% at the rear. If you do burn outs alot, you should get a guage that tells you your transmission temp so you don't overheat. Just don't want you to mess up anything.

  • I don't think i have the heart to do this to my new FX2, have done it plenty of times on my 95 F-150 though lol

  • lol, not hurting anything, my engine and tranny can handle it, gotta get rid of my piece of shit tires the fun way! lol

  • nice! im afraid of doing a real burnout in my truck cuz i dont wanna buy a new converter with the tires (my converter is not doing too well)

  • Thanks. Oh yeah, well maybe once replaced.

  • nice video as always :)

  • Thanks man

  • Bout time you get on it. :thumb:

  • lol yeah man, thanks.

  • WOW nice one Darren been waiting for ya to unlock that Beast..Great clip...grinnin in LA ....

  • thanks man, sure was fun.

  • holy shit dude! you didnt tell me about this!!!

good job btw ill be doin one of these here pretty soon!!!

  • lol I told you I was gonna get some burn outs, thats just 1 30 second one, I still got tread left & front tires to go!
