The exercise at the end is incorrect. Your thumb should point in the direction of conventional current, not electron current so it should be pointing in the + direction.
@mbofarull your not being serious! I pray to god your not being serious! The fucking coriolis effect? wtf 2012 is the end I swear everyone is dumber than shit.... were fucked!
@trucorky no ur not a tard but curreent moves up and down so when the current is moving down then your thumb will point down and the other 4 fingers will be clockwise have fun! :)
i might be a tard, but i dont understand.. the tips of the other 4 fingers are always pointing anti-clockwise, no matter which direction the current flows. could someone explain please?
I have seen videos that suggest the opposite is true ie a left hand rule. So now I am confused because a right hand rule is completely opposite of the left hand rule. so what is correct??? Why is there opposing lessons on this subject if physics is consistent.
Both rules are for different pirposes, debate exists about the location of the charges in the right hand rule, but that is it. The left hand rule is for interaction between current & magnetism, not only current like right hand rule. Right = electriv field due to current, // Left = movement due to current & magnetism.
How come with situations regarding Fleming's left hand rule, the magnetic field lines are always straight instead of curved? The way I see it is; they should be curved. Unless they take the tangent to the curved line as being the direction of the magnetic field. And even if they did this, because a current-carrying conductor may be so long, the direction of the force on the conductor would be different to the direction of the force on the other side of it? I do NOT understand!

You forgot to mention that this is considering the conventional current flow (+ to -) and not the real current flow (- to +)... or maybe you were waiting for the Left Hand Law video to come out.
In fact no one knows the true movement of electrons, therefore both statements are wrong. And I didnt forgot, I just didnt want to draw again the hands to show the other direction....which in fact is meaningless.
(I dont wait for my own videos to come out by the way! I choose when to air them!!!)
I refer to the upcoming LEFT HAND LAW! YOU IDIOT! ...And my video is not dumb! Is amazingly virtuose and has a high level of IQ.

Sarcasm, simply here yet SO FAR for some idiots. Everyone is a genius. Just judge a toad on its ability to swim and not on its ability to fly.

@dasraiser he is referring to conventional current which flows +ve to -ve :)

how does current move from +ve to -ve? shouldn't it be the other way round?!
psycho56 8 months ago
@psycho56 We always assume current to flow under conventional laws; i.e positive to negative.
If a question asked for electron flow then you would apply -ve to +ve.
