I have not failed to take into account either. A human being is a human being from the moment of conception. It would take much more than 500 words to adequately explain that, but just know that it's true, and setting arbitrary divides to decide when something is human leads down a never ending slope. Also, as horrible and extreme as it is sounds, rape cannot justify abortion. Long story short, one life (the baby) cannot be terminated because of the crimes of another (the rapist father).

Right to Choose implies a right to have a baby, or not have a baby. In other words, a right to let a baby live, or kill the baby. Since when is murder a legal "choice"? Under the law, the only justifiable homicide is done in self-defense. Therefore, the only justifiable abortion is that done to protect the mother's life. The choice is made when a woman has sex, knowing that despite contraception, pregnancy may occur, and once life is created, there is not right to destroy it.
