  • Cant believe I MISSED this on the BBC 2yrs ago......Just when you "think" you have seen all there is to see on this Planet?......the BBC comes up with something new. STUNNING country! Shame on the UK for not taking up the offer to protect it, though and well done Norway for taking up that offer. More countries should follow suit.

  • 3 people clicked the wrong button

  • God bless savethoseanimals and God bless the BBC

  • That first shot in itself is worth my Tv Licence fee.. Breathtaking!

  • I'm now watching this documentry, its so amazing, never quite seen my country like this...thank you Expedition Guyana I will share this with friends and family. Our country is so untouched, most of us live only on the coastlines and banks of the main rivers which haven't change much since our early colonisations...but we know the true beauty lies in the south of Guyana and more inland which most us don't get to see.

  • The jaguar is very powerful, you do not want to be a jaguar's enemy.

  • i love my homeland!

  • my god the beauty of that waterfall....breathtaking.

  • Wanna see jaguars?? go to Yucatan Mexico, Mayans use to put jaguar skin to get the "powers" of the jaguars to attack and thats call Jaguar Soldiers!

  • I wonder, what is the demand for canopy specialists?

  • @MrNaryal no.

  • Where's the rest of it....??

  • @MrNaryal

    funny joke

  • AMAZING WORLD!!! THANKS FOR SHARING THIS!!!

  • Where can I buy this video??

  • @wesleyhamilton at a shop.

  • @MrNaryal haha good one!

  • American documentaries are the worst to be honest with you. British documentaries are good but they are not as good as South African documentaries.

  • Damn I'm so eager to travel to guyana now, hiking around in the jungle. Too bad the trip costs so much. Truly the best documentary I've ever seen.

  • do they find ne black jaguars..There is almost no footage of them

  • "we need to prove that this land is more valuable alive than raised to the ground"

    So sad.

  • fuck this doc and fuc the world animals should make their own doc cause people r biased as fuck

  • When is this coming out on DVD ? :(

I cannot find it anywhere! if anyone has found it please let me know!

  • I love my country :-) amazing seeing this

  • I thaught that guyana was an island in west indies correct me if im wrong my friends......

  • @rohan00009 We are geographically in south america. Guyana is not an island. We are however, a part of the caribbean community and considered a part of the west indies.

  • Thanks a lot for uploading this quality video .

  • awesome vid man.....great country u have there...forest are virgins......hope it can be protected till the end.........love it.....

    Nature really is a mystery...

  • @poretely thanks bro

  • I LOVE MY PEOPLE!<3

  • Quality....fanx for the upload

  • thanx for posting

  • Nobody makes documentaries better than the Brits

  • Best narrators too, the accent classes it up ;)

  • Why is that?

  • Any one knows when the third is coming? And by the way- are ya having a laugh?

  • Could you rephrase that?

  • @where8angels8play,

Actually they are amongst the worst the Brits. Many of their documentaries are full of lies and bias, especially the political ones

  • @where8angels8play I am Indian and couldn't agree more to what you said.

  • WOOOOOOOOOOW i wish if i can go there! i love things like this

  • i liked it better when my country guyana was not really known about cuz people(specifically whites) want to come and start taking our stuff and soon God forbide it be like the other countries with decreasing biodiversity

  • Oh please...put a sock in it

  • shut up aint nobody talking to you

  • oh please put a sock in it.....Bharrat Jagdeo is the one selling the country out to the Developed world for money......

Here is a lesson for you.....When you share your comments on youtube.."YOU" talking to everyone....I wanna know what part of Guyana you from?

  • i'm not talking to everyone i'm just getting what is on my mind out. and for that fuck Bharrat jagdeo i hope someone shoots him

  • Not all whites but the illuminati.

  • Guyana is beautiful. I cant wait to go there in September.

  • I KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If they have more value alive than razed to the ground, perhaps these middle class white Europeans can give some of their money to provide a decent livelihood for the local population.

  • Hey thats not nice

The only ppl who have a responsibility to Guyana is Guyanese

  • "The only ppl who have a responsibility to Guyana is Guyanese " - that's what I said. And these well-off Europeans have the cheek to tell them how to live their lives, without helping them earn a livelihood.

  • Wat on earth r u talking about..no u did not say that

nobody is obligated to to help Guyana and its about time Guyanese stop looking for help nd help themselves...those well-off europeans work for wat they have so they have a right to do what they want with it...

i think this is a great vid the meer fact that they r trying to highlight this issue should b enough.

our forest has value to us not them we should stop making excuses nd start taking action.

  • Exactly..."The only ppl who have a responsibility to Guyana is Guyanese "

Cant believe I was born in such a beautiful place....but ....Log it and burn the rest for cattle raising like Brazil...(they have a race to win...behind China and India).

Because we were once a colony does not mean we should always be expecting a handout. Guyana and Suriname should work with the E.U and not the U.k or U.S. for assistance on conservation and development...instead of going the Brazil way

  • yea tell these assholes

  • iagree

  • hey my friend Ajay Baksh helped organise this trip

  • Amazing! do you know his blood group (!)

  • That's my country!

  • beautiful - felt verklempt & nostalgic...

  • i'm guyanese :)

  • if anybody watched this and knows whether british government have agreed to pay the guyanese to stop deforestation, let me know thanks!

would be tragic to spoil this natural beauty

  • i love documentarys that explore things that havnt been explored b4, i know it sucks me inn.

  • Now when you come to see keep in mind that we want it to last - forever!!!

  • dis mek me so proud fuh be guyanese!
