  • I don't want to spoil the magic but i'm afraid there has been like 8 Fungi's! :(

  • He is a Magical creature!

  • I was in Dingle Bay in 1990 and Funghi was there too! Dingle Bay is an amazing place, a magical place; mabye Funghi got so old because of this magic.

  • he was playing in the moonlight last night and he brings such peace and teachings of love and harmony

  • The average age of a Bottlenose Dolphin is 25 years. Fungi is believed to have been born in the mid-1970's which now make him at least 33-36 years old which is very old for a dolphin. Maybe he's a Dingle man back for reincarnation with a lifespan of an average human:-)

  • hope we will meet again this summer.

last year fungie came to our sailing boat twice, when we went in and out dingle bay. he knows all the boats.

  • I saw funghi when I was 16

7 years ago hope to see him again soon :) He is a little star

    Love you fungi x

  • Not long back from a holiday i Kerry....and I got to see Fungie.....the most incredible experience of my entire..( Im 57 )...a show off and an exhibitionist if ever I saw one. lol. He was amazing....he danced and jumped with every boat...swam up alongside so we could see him. Never have I had such an experience in my life.

    Funfie Forever...I love you

  • i went to see him he's lovely

  • Wow! Really hope he's got his own little pod. There was a female dolphin that hung out with him for a while several years ago, but she didn't like the attention so much and left.

  • '' he's worth millions to the local economy each year''

You bunch of parasites...you should be fucking ashamed of yourselves

  • is fungi still there? i saw him 6 years ago and have never forgotten him! someone please tell me he's still around!

  • he still there

  • still there

  • as far as I know he is still around, my dad usually fishes in Dingle every year and he says he is :) Hope he is too im wanting to see the little fellow again saw him 7 years ago. :)

  • @wildfilly hes still there~peace with love

  • Still there. Been there for most of his life.

But, he's already well beynd a normal dolphin life span, so in a few years...

  • Swam with fungi in the middle of winter all by myself in 96. I had the flue 103 temp. When I got out I felt great!! Thanks Fungi!!

  • The narrator's words are truly spoken. Fungi is a friend to all and it behooves us to protect his home.

    Thanks for posting!

  • Saw him about 10 years ago in Dingle Bay. He's a real show off - caught himself a nice big fish and was showing it to everyone on the boat. Must be getting on a bit now the old fella!

  • Yeh I swam with him in 2000. He caught a fish and showed it off then as well! It was so amazing swimming with him in the water, chasing him and playing a bit. One of the best experiences of my life for sure.

  • Yeh he definitely makes your heart sing!

  • Oh, that's so great, I found him on Youtube! He is still there! Look at him, so happy!...
