So is the version I have of this rom out of date? I have the one from SonicRetro from like a year ago. Have you released any significant updates since then?

PS: Metal Knuckles is a bastard hahaha sooo hard. I really enjoyed this game and I liked a lot of the music. Great levels and awesome twist on acquiring the emeralds.

PPS:I noticed that I only needed 1 emerald to cause chaos control. Was this a glitch or intentional?

@ProphetsOfAshes 1. No I haven't released any updates since then.  One is planned in the near future

as for chaos control, I always used to say "turn into super sonic" but I later found out that there is a word for when a character goes into their super form, which is "chaos control" as they are controlling the pwer of the chaos emeralds LOL

@ProphetsOfAshes Actually, it's called "super transformation".  As for that build, I think that's a glitch. I set it to require seven emeralds for that.

@GrandMasterGalvatron there must be a plethora of words for it then, but thats the one from the show that was tied closest to the games, which was SonicX, although that show really started to get F'ed near the end of its run. I think chaos control has more of a "ring" to it, no pun intended lol

@GrandMasterGalvatron Good point, but to get the real answer we'd have to take ourselves back to 1992, and ask the developers what they called it when they released Sonic 2 lol. "We called it, Super-happy-funtime. Why you ask? Because we're Japanese"

I felt MUCH more achieved with the previous 1-up tune you had. That's my only complaint. Everything else is excellent. Also, by the way, the first boss in Spectra Valley made me realise, this game has a lot of potential. I have faith for this to be the greatest Sonic hack title ever made. Yes, even compared to Megamix. It has an epic story, not too much of one. And the gameplay elements are kept the same and the moves are quite original. Grade A work sir.

Ah Ring Land 1 and Chaotic street 2 sounds much better.

I don't know if the menu theme needed to have its tempo fastered but it's still decent
