I first heard of them because a good friend called to let me know his band was opening for them in a couple hours.... unfortunately I couldn't make the show but looked into their music and now I can't get enough of them... I wish I had that day to do over again.... fat chance they'll be playing a small club in Cleveland, Ohio again.... :(

Alright you sold me on it, got it in today and it kills my old blu cigs. I am looking at getting a 510 model also and the Volvano inferno. Now do you recommend the Ion or Magma. I hear a lot of good from Volcano but a lot of it is adds. I want your perspective because you are an actual user. Keep in mind I use a lot of VG (80/20) is my standard ratio, I like the thicker smoke it makes.

@destroyerbmx - as far as the Ion or Magma, the answer is "yes"..... I've had good performance from both models, and fairly similar, actually.... with a slight performance nod to the Ion.... BUT.... my first Magma atomizer saw a LOT of use, for over 3 months...... that's a LOT, for me.

@NikkoDaniels I went ahead and ordered the revolver Ion because I am blown away by the quality of the elite, in all aspects (build, vapor, flavor). I am slowly becoming a junkie w/ this so almost no doubt I will buy the magma at a later date.

@destroyerbmx - Watch out, or you'll not save a lot of money compared to cigarettes... I didn't save much the first 6 or 7 months because I bought a lot of different models, trying to find that elusive, "PERFECT ecig"... and am STILL looking.... :)

@Resq234 - that's almost impossible to answer. I change ecig models quite often, but my favorites go back and forth between different models of 510, 601, 902, 702....

Nikko I have the Blu right now and I am thinking of getting the revolver sample kit, which just includes 1 batt, atty and usb charger with a few carts. Are all these items compatable with the Blu merch? Can I use the blu charging pack with the revolver batt? I dont have alot of moolah so I am trying to piecemeal the revolver stuff into my inventory. Love your videos, reviews and stuff and definitely repect your opinion. Thanks in advance...Dani

@Resq234 - Blu parts are really only interchangeable with Volcano parts; Revolver's sample kit is NOT compatible. You can use any 510 atomizer on a Blu battery and it will work, but will drain the battery even quicker than the Blu's atty does.

Your best bet if you're not happy with the Blu is to save up a bit and get something bigger.

I use 510s, mostly, and 601s as well, and Revolver's new Infiniti Ion is way up on my list of top ecigs I like.

The song in this video is "Osiris' Triumphant Return", track 11 from their 2007 release, "God's Equation", and it clocks in at 8 minutes and 45 seconds, unedited.... :)

I had only heard OF the band a week prior to doing the video and now they're pretty much my favorite band!

hey Nikko, good review bro. will that pcc work for a blu? have you compared the revolver against the blu? i really like the blu because it looks exactly like a real cig since i put a volcano battery on it. I didnt like everybody asking about it when i had the blue tip.

The blu is a completely different model which is not interchangeable with the Elite. I don't mind people asking about the blue LED because it allows me to spread the word about how much healthier ecigs are than tobacco cigarettes :)

I do like Revolver's juices, pretty much all of the ones I've tried so far but at the time I did this review, they hadn't started carrying them. At this time, I'm definitely a fan :)

Most of the fruit-flavored juices are good, just don't produce as thick vapor as the tobacco flavors. For this vid I was using some 555, at 24mg that I got from RMV.

As you said, "nothing sucks more than being out on the town with DEAD batteries and a DEAD case charger!" Well, in my experience, Revolver is 0 for 3. All three units they've sent me are now dead- I didn't bang them around, drop them, expose them to extreme temperatures or loud noises. I just carried them around in my jacket pocket the way anyone would carry a normal pack of cigarettes, and all of them eventually (sometimes in a few weeks, sometimes in just days or HOURS), stopped working.

I hope the guys at Revolver are taking care of your situation.

They are very good at CS, from what I've seen so far.

The only thing about the content of this video that I would change if I had it to do over would be to update the charging time for the batteries. Now they take 30-50 minutes to charge after being drained. The first couple charges took 15 minutes, just like I said. Everything else about it is still correct to the best of my knowledge.

Nice review, Nikko- it had a lot to do with convincing me to buy the Revolver Elite Duo starter kit, back in October. Too bad the product, itself, is a piece of crap. In the past 8 weeks I have had to replace the PCC twice, for a total of three units that have malfunctioned. All three of them stopped being able to either hold a charge or to charge the rechargeable e- cig batteries properly, and all 3 eventually went completely dead. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I have to disagree with your assessment that the product is a piece of crap. Mine still works just fine, produces good vapor, drains the carts... does what I need it to, for the most part. I do have one battery that takes a couple tries before it stays in the charging cycle but the other one seems to work correctly... and the charger I used in this video still works fine. Hell, I'm still using the very same atomizer I used in this vid. I've never been able to get a 401 to last that long.

@NikkoDaniels Lucky you! I really, REALLY wanted this product to work as advertised, especially after I watched your kick-ass review. I gave it a whole bunch of chances, tried everything I could think of to make the first two units I received work, learned how to do soft and hard resets, bought extra attys, batteries of all different colors, lots of flavors of carts and e-liquid, and when my last (third!) PCC literally exploded during charging, I gave up. 3 strikes and you're out, Revolver!

The cartridges for the Revolver Elite and the cartridges for the 401 are exactly the same and are completely interchangeable. No difference whatsoever.

I'm pretty much exclusively using Fluval Water Fine Polishing Pads, bought a 6-pack for $4.99 at a pet store. That's more than enough for a year's worth of vaping, maybe a LOT longer. Don't pack it too tightly and the carts drain real well. If it's cut correctly you won't even have to use any tools to get it in place.

Try using a good juice. I've never been a fan of the pre-filled carts that came with ANY of my ecigs. For this video I used some 24mg 555 juice I got from Rocky Mountain Vapor, my current favorite.

@Dawggstar -It probably has a lot to do with which juice you're using. For this video I was just using some Chinese 555 juice, made by Dekang if I remember correctly. It produced a nice flavor, GREAT vapor and didn't clog up my atty!
