When I traveled to Burma last year, every person I'd ask about Daw Suu (very discreetly, because you don't want any authorities overhearing) would give the same reaction: they'd start tearing up (even weeping sometimes), this glow would come over their face and they would talk about her strength, her courage and the hope that one day her efforts would liberate Burma.
