@Ayumi649 I no longer have an HTC DROID Incredible to test it with, but first you need the cable. Once you have the cable, plug it in. If it doesn't work, then look through the Settings menu to see if there is a a selection to make this work. It will probably be one of the choices under "Display."

Go to Amazon and search on "droid incredible video cable" -- that will bring up the HTC version of the cable for $17. As far as I can tell, Wirefly does not sell this cable.

@DaMania510xyz This connects to the "video" input on your TV. This is also known as the "composite" input. It's standard NTSC video, not HD. It's the sort of connection you'd use for an old-fashioned standard-definition VCR.

@latios1500 You understand that they are on two different carriers, right? The DROID Incredible is on Verizon and the Samsung Vibrant is on T-Mobile. I really like the 4-inch AMOLED screen on the Vibrant and the other Galaxy S phones. Both the DROID Incredible and the Vibrant (and its replacement, the Galaxy S 4G) are terrific phones, so go with whichever carrier has the best service in your area.

@surikan1 I don't know if this cable works for the Atrix, as we haven't had an Atrix in to test yet. We will certainly give this feature a test when we have the phone in hand.

i need to no if the video output can be achieved through an Htc incredible, through the headphone jack. for example, i have a double headed AV unit, one end is for a 3.5mm headphone input, and the other end has 3 AV jacks (red, white, yellow) i was wondering if it is possible to transfer video FROM the phone TO the TV, with my A/V cable. Samsung created a micro usb to hdmi that should be compatible with all phones that have a micro usb jack. I'm going to look more into it tommorow to make sure and see if it's compatible with all phones with micro usb output or not. the only web site I found such a device was on myreplicaphone . com I looked into radio shack and fry's and it doesn't look like either of them have it according to online search. I may be wrong though and they may have something like this in stores.

Does it transfer the audio as well or just the video? If just the video, you would have to hear the audio through the phone? That would suck. Please clarify, I can't find the answer anywhere! I know that if the cable has red, white AND yellow, the audio should transfer as well, but we all know that technology does not always use common sense! Help! :)

@Matreyu13 I did too. They may have ripped it from a dvd and then converted it to mp4 or 3gp and the conversion was out of sync. I have an LG Dare and I'm getting the Incredible and I always have problems getting the sync just right when I convert to MP4. Not the player, but the conversion is the issue.

Whats so cool about this? Its obsolete analog composite output. They should have used HDMI, that would have been cool since you can hookup to anything today including computer LCD monitors. Shame IMO. Composite is almost useless

Not sure about LCD monitors. But, all my (and my friends) TV's and projectors still have component inputs. Maybe there are some that don't, but almost all the TV's I have seen have 2-3 component inputs, along with a 2-3 HDMI.

Also, it might be possible that HTC might implement a MicroUSB to HDMI... I doubt it. But you never know.

Regardless, I think, there are still plenty of new/current TV's/Projectors that will use this.

stupid, why would they use the micro usb port, that means you cant charge the phone while you watch the movie. That makes absolutely no sense. Im buying this phone but that is pretty disappointing. I thought it would have a separate tv output port.
