@Hulious777 Hey mate, we had a chat at the boys from Hitachi and this is what they had to say:
The WH18DSL was released in July 2010 and is available Australia wide through authorised Hitachi Dealers. Recently we have introduced the WH18DBDL which utilizes a new brushless motor and improves performance and battery life by 30%!!
Check out the WTW Magazine Tradie Tough Tests video comparing Hitachi brushed with brushless!!
"Milwaukee, faaar superior for power & speed"...I believe it. I really dig Panasonic power tools and I'm itching to buy some but the line(s) are so limited ~vs~ Bosch, Mak & Mil, I just can't bring myself to it. Great vid fellas.
I was looking to get one, It really helped me decide. I think i'll get the Milwaukee because I prefer speed and torque over run-time. However, Milwaukee's battery lasted really good as well.....
The Panasonic won for putting in the most \baton screws... other brands were good for their own reasons. Makita's 22 min charge time in phenomenal and Milwaukee's speed was very impressive... Stay tuned as this weekend we dunked Panasonic drills in water and tested if they still worked.
There's a full wrapup in the mag... subscribe for some cheap thrills mate!! :) It's hard to rank them though because different drivers perform well in dfferent ways. Coming up we are testing Gas Framers, Drill bits, Levels and Pressure Washers.
It would be good if some kind of summary was given at end, like a ranking of the test, I have to go back to video and pause so I can see the actually result for each impact driver. good video, any plan for drills, hammer drills, or other power tools ?
if they had a updated makita i think makita would of beat all of those other impact drivers

What are the specs on all models? Are they all the 18 volt range or different? I think one of the tools fell off the bench.
