Apparently, Brett Favre has more fumbles than any other player in his career.
I'm willing to bet he didn't actually fumble THAT much. When the running back doesn't get the handoff, the quarterback is credited with the fumble. So he's not THAT bad.
@frostyflakes96 Favre would drop it for no reason whatsoever. But, even IF you are saying they are related to handoffs, why would it happen more often just for Favre, especially considering he played in a WCO his entire career. Lastly, the reason the QB is credited with the fumble, is because it is HIS job to get it where it is going. He touches the rock on every play, he is the field general, he is the one who is responsible. Simply put, Favre was a turnover machine. It harmed his teams.
@toolkien Well of course HE fumbled it every so often, but that is to be expected. It's not like the quarterback is immune to having the ball stripped from him.
I'm sure most of those fumbles are bound to be his fault, but I'm also sure that there were a few cases where the running back was to blame.
Then again, 20 years of playing football. He's bound to have a lot of turnovers, even though many of them were preventable and shouldn't have happened, especially with a veteran quarterback.
I heard he averaged 2 picks a practice back in green bay. and when percy and sidney were injured in minnesota you can only imagine how much he averaged then.
I'm not sayin Warner didn't have a strong arm he was an nfl qb so he obviously did... just not as strong as favre... he was way more accurate in my opinion though
@FabsRuled when you have the ball in your hands in the kind of traffic that ap is in...you will have fumbles, you cant avoid it in that kind of situation
How is a Favre a traitor? Green Bay was going to bench him behind Rogers. Who turned out to be a badass motherfucker... any who back to Favre wanting to be traded so he could start. Thank you NJ Jets for getting him out of the fucked up situation. Green Bay should of stuck with Favre and traded Rogers. Green Bay was the traitors. But they made the right decision also.
@doesyourgodcomeinaca well what would you do if brett retired and decided to come back 2 months before season started? the only reason brett is a traitor is because he went to the dikes, if he didnt go to the vikings and he would have either tried to stay with the jets, he wouldnt have been seen as a traitor
@Arbitor69 bretts gonna be remembered for his career as a Packer and all of the great things he did there. a few years from now, people won't even remember he went to the Vikings. as a long time Vikings fan, i hated him but i always respected how fucking good he was.

Brett Farve is very good, but i dont believe he is the best QB ever, still to me is Joe Montana, really the only reason i believe Brett broke the passing yards record last year is because he has played longer than anybody which gives him the most chances in breaking it
Brett Favre Never Had The Recievers Peyton Manning Had, Marvin Harrison, Anthony Gonzalez, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark Favre Has Had Nothing To Throw To And He Breaks All Those Records He Is The Best Quarter Back Ever And I Am A Bears Fan
Are you kidding? The only way the Pats could move the ball today was on the ground...they couldn't tackle Lamont Jordan in the second half & that's why the Jets lost..if you think cassel outplayed favre, you weren't watching
I think Brett might be better than ever this year. Yeah he didn't stay in real good condition in the off-season like he normally would ect. But he seems to be much more focused and even nervous. Not wanting to disappoint some of the expectations laid on him and his team.
anybody who thinks Farve is over rated has NEVER WATCH HIM PLAY, yeah he just accidentally broke every record and accidentally never missed a game HE NEVER SOL OUT and if he would have left Green Bay in the early 2000s he would have had more super Bowl Titles. And of course the luckiest player in football today just threw two more lucky touchdowns..MUST BE MONKEY MAGIC
You Jets would not have a team if we didn't give you our Brett Favre! You Jet fans better appreciate having the best quarterback in history. You guys suck!
Favre is an over-rated douche. The Jets will still suck even with him. I think it is funny as hell that they make their players run laps like a bunch of 10 year-olds. LOL.
Rodgers hasn't been horrible. Just the one game, and that was because of the poor blocking he got. Personally though, if the Jets don't go to the Superbowl, it will have been a failure, because the Jets have the 8th easiest schedule in the NFL... the Packers have one of the hardest schedules.
If aaron Rodgers wasn't terrible then why did they draft 2 QB's??? They have no confidence in him. And when Farve was playing for your beloved Packers, you probably wore his jersey and chaned his name every TD he threw. He was spectacular today
i love how fans of a horrible team try and lie to themselves. even though you know your team sucks, you still say "they just need this, they still need that and we will be in the playoffs" lol are u kidding me??? the jets are garbage!!! look for another 3-4 win season folks. i can easily name 8 teams in the AFC better than this team, which means no playoffs buddy...
The Jets were lucky to be 4-12 last year. They showed what kind of team they were when they ruined America's Thanksgiving. You don't fix a team that bad in free agency, or in one offseason. Brett Farve played poorly in 2005-2006. The Packers let him go bc they believed he likely would not repeat the success he had last season. More than anything else, they're still the LOWLY JETS. I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you. Bwhahahahaha lmao @ Jets fans. You'll be disappointed.
Lucky to be 4-12? Did not watch any of the games last year? Of those 12 losses, 7 of those were losses by 7 points or fewer (including the OT loss to Washington). I'm not gonna stand here and tell you that the Jets were championship caliber last year becuase that would be a lie, but if they at least had a QB with a tenth of the talent of a Brett Favre, they could conceivably been 8-8 or 9-7 last year
For the record, the door was always open for #4 to come back to GB. If he had said "I'm back" at the time he had his psuedo-retirement, he would still be the packers starting QB. It was only after the team had conducted its spring practices and had firmly established Aaron Rodgers as the starter was when they decided it was time to move on. On paper, this team should win at least 10 games especially since they play their non-conference schedule against the worst division in football (NFC west)
You can basically count on one hand the number of times the Jets have won double digit games in their pathetic history. See wikipedia for their record of futility. The Jets should be doing what the Dolphins and Bills are doing and that's go with a youth movement and build for a 5-10 year run. Spending cap money on veterans and aquiring a 38 year old quarterback to possibly help the team win 10 games and a playoff game defies logic. But then again they're the Jets.
Leave it to a Jets fan to brag about/look forward to a 10-6 season. Y'know sometimes 10-6 doesn't even make the playoffs....Like, say for example...LAST YEAR. Lmao @ Jets fans, your team will continue to linger as a non-Superbowl contender for years to come bc of this past offseasons moves. 38 year old Brett Farve, 14th year Alan Fanica (spelling ?). Good moves for the future...Bwhahahahaha
The problem is, what will make Favre look so great, is that the Jets have the 8th easiest schedule in the NFL. Favre definitely is overrated, but with the easy schedule he will have it a lot easier than the Packers will. The Packers still have no runningback, along with a much tougher schedule, which may make Rodgers look bad.
I'm not even a Packers fan, but how can you say they have no running back? Ryan Grant...? I think he had like 1100 yards and 10TDs in like 10 games or something. Favre is overrated, he just played longer than most other QBs, that's why he has the records. Those records will be smashed by Manning well before he reaches Favre's age. Favre is a good QB, but that's just it, he is just good. NOT amazing, NOT the greatest... Just a good consistant QB
no he's great & that's not even debatable...I won't call him the best ever, but no one can deny him his greatness. he can't escape pressure or throw 70mph strikes like he could 10 yrs ago, but he can still move his feet better than Manning who's about 8 years younger. I doubt manning will beat his records; he's had harrison to pad his stats for years now but they're both getting older & now peyton's limited by that surgery...i'd take favre any day.
He can still throw the bullet passes but like you said he's not as agile or mobile as he once was. I remember seeing him so many times shake off defenders and keep going. Seeing those times used to make me think he was invincible. lol.
very true. Manning's had a supporting cast ever since he stepped foot into the colts locker room, not to mention having the great tony dungy as his coach. once tony leaves, I dunno where the colts are going.
he's NEVER had the best receivers on any team. the only "Best" he's ever had was Reggie White. If you say Antonio Freeman was a hall of fame Receiver, check again. Favre made him great. When he left GB he was just another receiver.
then you are still the dumbass here my friend. need i bring up names like sterling sharpe, edgar bennet, or mark chmura? maybe you should stop leaving comments...
do you see any of those names doing well outside of GB, or anywhere near the HOF? maybe you should sop leaving comments, proves you don't know much about football.
sterling sharpe was an idiot,he charged a minimum of $45 for ANY auto graph,no matter what age.and he thought he was good enough for a 110 MILLION dollar contract when he was in his last year,he was a joke
Why the fuck does anyone care about this? There is someone in China who just became the greatest olympian in history and all I hear about everywhere is some old ass piece of shit had to run a lap in practice.
Totally agree, I'm so sick of Favre. Though I dont understand what you're complaing about, I've had the radio on ESPN the past couple days and "Michael Phelps" has to be most used words on the station over that time period.
I looked at it because they actually wrote about it in Sports Illustrated and said it already had 100,000 views, and I had to see how hilariously lame it was. I'll leave you alone though, continue jerking off to everything Favre does.
Jets will go 10-6 just make the playoffs and anything can happen from there.yes, chivuel greenbay has awesome young talent they do have better talent then the jets...To bad aron rodgers will get hurt before there bye week.
The Jets schedule is fairly easy. If they take care of business against some lesser teams, and come out hard and win a game against New England, you can look at them going possibly 11-5, or even 12-4.
Their O-Line is going to be nasty. Favre will have 700 years to find receivers. And the O-Line also will be giving Jones alot more room to run. Look for him to have a bounce back season.
Um no its not...Mangini has a strict policy that any fumbles during practice you have to run a lap. On the snap Favre fumbled the ball so they were both forced to run a lap
bax323 how dumb are you? no way will the Jets beat out the Pats for top in east division... I'm not even a pats fan but any idiot knows the jets r still shit
there not gonna beat out the pats but they wont be shit. They poured 100 mil into this team. With a much improved o line there gonna be playoff "contenders"
Rex Grossman would be running a lot of laps if he played for the Jets.

no he's great & that's not even debatable...I won't call him the best ever, but no one can deny him his greatness. he can't escape pressure or throw 70mph strikes like he could 10 yrs ago, but he can still move his feet better than Manning who's about 8 years younger. I doubt manning will beat his records; he's had harrison to pad his stats for years now but they're both getting older & now peyton's limited by that surgery...i'd take favre any day.
darshloaf 3 years ago
He can still throw the bullet passes but like you said he's not as agile or mobile as he once was. I remember seeing him so many times shake off defenders and keep going. Seeing those times used to make me think he was invincible. lol.
BradyBlows4Life 3 years ago 2
very true. Manning's had a supporting cast ever since he stepped foot into the colts locker room, not to mention having the great tony dungy as his coach. once tony leaves, I dunno where the colts are going.
djtsukasa 3 years ago
wait, which manning? cause eli is getting alot better but brett gets those records cuz he used to have like the best recievers on his team
baseballrg 3 years ago
he's NEVER had the best receivers on any team. the only "Best" he's ever had was Reggie White. If you say Antonio Freeman was a hall of fame Receiver, check again. Favre made him great. When he left GB he was just another receiver.

One of the best comments I've ever seen. Thank you. Brett Favre is #1 forever. = D

Why would you call Breet Farve a fuckin retard ? I thought you liked the Jets.
jcane28eatsfatpuss 3 years ago
Why the fuck does anyone care about this? There is someone in China who just became the greatest olympian in history and all I hear about everywhere is some old ass piece of shit had to run a lap in practice.
thebramabull 3 years ago
Totally agree, I'm so sick of Favre. Though I dont understand what you're complaing about, I've had the radio on ESPN the past couple days and "Michael Phelps" has to be most used words on the station over that time period.
sainters7 3 years ago
If your so sick of Favre quit looking up his videos you fucking dumbass.
orangeoctober23 3 years ago
I looked at it because they actually wrote about it in Sports Illustrated and said it already had 100,000 views, and I had to see how hilariously lame it was. I'll leave you alone though, continue jerking off to everything Favre does.

Giants296 3 years ago
eric mangini is a jerk for making nick mangold run because nick mangold is really fat and he was probably extremaly exhausted after the lap.

What a slacker. Jets are goin 7-9
eric71 3 years ago
Personally, I think Brett Favre had more talent around him in Green Bay than with the Jets.
Chivuel 3 years ago
jets will go 7-9
the afc is too good, lets get serious
1sleepyt 3 years ago
The Jets schedule is fairly easy. If they take care of business against some lesser teams, and come out hard and win a game against New England, you can look at them going possibly 11-5, or even 12-4.
Their O-Line is going to be nasty. Favre will have 700 years to find receivers. And the O-Line also will be giving Jones alot more room to run. Look for him to have a bounce back season.
This Jets team has the chance to be lethal.

I cant wait to see Packer Nation fumble in their pants when Rodgers go down with in first few weeks....
9022137 3 years ago
Um no its not...Mangini has a strict policy that any fumbles during practice you have to run a lap. On the snap Favre fumbled the ball so they were both forced to run a lap

bax323 how dumb are you? no way will the Jets beat out the Pats for top in east division... I'm not even a pats fan but any idiot knows the jets r still shit
donniebrasco728 3 years ago
there not gonna beat out the pats but they wont be shit. They poured 100 mil into this team. With a much improved o line there gonna be playoff "contenders"
nofatchicks3 3 years ago
is this high school gym class? running laps as punishment?
chubchaser69 3 years ago
Favre the icon runs a lap and gets almost 200,000 views in just a few hours. The Jets clinched the AFC East the day they signed him.
bax323 3 years ago
The first of many more turnovers to come; he's not the All-Time Interception King for nothing!
