im from london but for many reasons iv been up to glasgow

as much as im a proud londoner,id be proud to be a glaswegian

you'd never meet a people as kind as glaswegians,as an englishman iv experienced anti-english sentiment in the north of scotland but in glasgow it seems,like in london.....that its a city welcome to all

The last time I was in Scotland was in 1975 when we spent 2-3 weeks wandering up from Edinborough north to about Inverness and down again through Glasgow (after a side trip to Skye). A wonderful trip. The only problem is that I brought home an addiction to single malt whisky. Not a minor one - my favourite is Laphroaig Quarter Cask - and any malt drinker can tell you that Laphroaig is pretty serious Scotch Whisky.
