I'm sorry you had a bad experience in Kumon. It could be due to many factors, one of them is possibly due to the Instructor's lack in some way. Well, nobody's perfect. I definitely am not and neither do I think that Kumon is the only answer to all of life's questions.
But speaking on my own behalf, I can say that I put my whole heart into my students. and the 70% of the students' who respond and have their lives touched is worth risking the 30% who think what I do is nonsense!
@sagax04 R u a Kumon student? Perhaps you had a instructor you didn't like. You're welcome to visit my centre and see my students for yourself. I can safely say 80% of my students enjoy the challenge of Kumon, even though they feel very frustrated at times because of the difficulty level. 10% don't care for Kumon because they can't get along with me personally, and 10% don't care about anything but fun and games. Which type would you be?
