  • @MrMegas2

    lololol....you slacker

  • adoro essa música, adoro o peter centera, essa música fez parte da minha adolecência, isso sim é que era musica, não esses lixos que tocam hoje.

  • These two voices worked really well together. I wonder how easily that came to them? It seems like it came naturally, but it's possible it took a lot of work and rehearsals to get it right. The chemistry seems so good you have to wonder if the two are at least friends--that's the sign of a great duet.

  • Adultery??? Some people have a very vivid imagination. And WHY do Christian conservatives feel the need to flood every video featuring Amy Grant with criticisms and judgments on her personal life? Could it be that Amy is - gasp! - HUMAN and goes through the same problems everyone goes through, and that it's unrealistic to expect her to live as a shining paragon of perfection? The "she's not a true Christian because she divorced and remarried" thing is getting old...

  • Peter Cetera has one of the best voices ever. Ever! He made Chicago sound amazing.

  • @ALucas73 That's why I have no desire to see Chicago live without him in the band. :)

  • Hmmm... Might put it on my mp3...

  • I feel like I'm back in the '80s, curling the sides of my hair and wearing Love's Baby Soft and a big square shirt.

  • This is classic 80's music and you don't hear songs like these days.

  • next time I fall..im gonna put a pillow down there first....

  • Yea I wish I had someone to sing this song to :-)

  • Te amo amy.... aunque mi novia se enoje.-

  • I am also a christian and to me the meaning of this song is so simple. A heart was broken and retracted and because of the hurt experinced before the heart is once again shy. But love cannot be locked away forever and as a result the next time love comes around and it true the once broken heart will go all the way.

  • david foster composed this song. a wonderful ballad

  • the very best of Peter Cetera and Amy Grant you will never see for a long time

  • Amy Grant is my dream girl <3

  • i sooo love this song

  • god, Amy is so beautiful in this video I get the chills.

  • Hee, hee, hee.....Sometimes life DOES imitate art. Wonder if Amy already had Vince in mind when she sang this song??? Ha, ha !! Probably already did. Like her other song goes, "Love Will Find A Way......"

  • @ilivelovenlaugh i feel the same way but for now i'll just wait for my turn...

  • All these 80s songs just blew me away... Awesome!!!

  • The Original Song Always Sound Better Then The Remakes!

  • this makes me feel good inside. 70s 80s forever. RIP Good olde MTV

  • i will die loving this song, makes me a kid again!!!

  • Beautifull, beautifull song.....

  • i love this song so much

  • Amy, since you're a Christian Pop Star, why would you perform a tune that appears to endorse adultrey? I think the religious right would want to destroy you for that. Next time, be more careful in which tunes you do your duets with; OK?

  • @kja427 I am a Christian to and people have the right to choice what music they listen to and sing, and if you pay attention to the lyrics it isn't about adultery, it talks about having put your heart out there and being broken so many times, and being in love with someone and being afraid to tell them or follow through because of everything they have been through, if you listen to Petera Cetera he says next time I am going to follow through, they about knowing better next time they try

  • @Bluehudson1 you are right

  • @jonahzaitsev Thank you! and I glad to see others are realizing that also and I can relate to this song very much so with what I have been going through lately! :o)

  • @Bluehudson1

WOW! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THOSE BEAUTIFUL WORDS! FOR YEARS I HAVE BEEN RACKING MY BRAIN EXPLAINING TO THESE NARROWMINDED PEOPLE OF THE SONGS TRUE MEANING! I CANT BELIEVE HOW DISEASED SOME PEOPLE'S MINDS CAN BE, THIS IS TRUELY A BEAUTIFUL SONG, AND THE FIRST TIME I HEARD IT, I WAS FLOORED! I HAVE THE HARDEST TIME TAKING CHANCES WHEN IT COMES TO MATTERS OF THE HEART, SO IT DOES MY HEART GOOD TO KNOW THAT IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO FEELS THE SAME WAY! GOD BLESS YOU!

  • @desertstarr85 God Bless you to, I'm glad so many people agree with me, it is more then obvious this song is not about adultery, I can really relate to it with everything I have been going through. and I have a friend who is a devoted Christian and follows in the word of God and she listens and promotes Metal bands I don't think that makes her any less of a Christian like that person was saying about Amy Grant, this song would not be the same without her voice, its obviously what God intended

  • @Bluehudson1

Are you mad-Who ever said it was an adulterous theme? Nevertheless, I am sure this is the song that Amy played in her heart (next time I fall in love) when she cheated on her husband. fine women, that . . . .

  • @bdsamlal if you see my comment it was a reply to someone who had first said Amy Grant was wrong for singing this song being she is a Christian, and said she shouldn't be promoting Adultery so I was explaining to them the song wasn't about Adultery so no I am not I was trying to explain the song to someone else

  • @bdsamlal if you look through the pages you'll see how other people also replied to that person trying to explain to them that the son was not about Adultery

  • @Bluehudson1 nice explanation! im really bad i hardly listen to the lyrics, i just like the smooth sound and beautifulness of the song... although maybe subconsciously the lyrics sink in? anyway... awesome song! luv it <3

  • @Bluehudson1 except the chorus... yea i listen to those and love those lol... but the rest im a bit zoned out with lol. thanks for ur interpretation thou!

  • @kja427 the song not about adultrey its about someone whose in love with someone but is afraid to tell them maybe you should listen better next time and stop judging people cause in the end only god can judge you

  • @kja427 ITS NOT ABOUT ADUKLTRY, IT'S ABOUT FALLING IN LOVE ,BEING HURT, AND FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN.

  • wow, reminds me of when I was a child... I loved this song

  • Just came here after listening to Bobby Caldwell's version (he wrote the song but recorded his version in 1989)---I don't know now which one sounds better.

  • i dont care if ur old now amy grant but your beauty still awesome!! pls marry me :)

  • The Karate Kid:Greatest Hits

    Disc 1

    Track 7

From "The Karate Kid, Part 2 (1986)

  • HES GOING TO HAVE TO KISS MY ASS!

  • I heard of songs, since I was little.. This songs makes me reminisce of the past so I likes this songs, But I can't forget this song, by PETER CETERA(from CHICAGO BAND GROUP)!!! ♥♥♥♥

  • i remember my first memory of hearing this song at work... i said to myself, "i know this is that dude from chicago and some chick. i don't know either of their names, but i know that's who it is. and man, it's corny, yet somehow enjoyable. and it's too pop for chicago, even with the changing climate."

    or something like that.

  • so true!!!

  • Always remember this one as a "couple skate" song.

  • my days on WAYV Atlantic City on the late night show is what this reminds me of. Great record...i thought it was Mike McDonald...Peter was fresh at that time

  • que temon!!

  • ebud1980 haha i agree

  • I guess Peter cetera was the one who put Amy grant's heart in motion.

  • this was photograped by my sisters' in laws husband in the name of ronny dana and directed by dominic senna...

  • amy grant was a babe

  • @trickester5 Yeah, was. I'm guessing that she doesn't look so desirable 24 years later.

  • whats better than corny 80's music..

  • @thejosephfur Nothing

  • They should do another duet

  • always a great classic as all peter does

  • I watched the video twice and came up with a more approximate ratio: 3:2 Meaning that for every 3 shots of Peter Cetera in the video there are two of Amy Grant. hmm my last estimate was way off. pays to pay attention. great song and pretty good video.

  • this video has a very high Cetera to Grant. For every shot of Amy Grant theres at least 5 or more of Peter Cetera. I set the ratio at 7:1

anyone else have a ratio to put up?
