@riff5fki My assessment of the song, upon listening to it again, is that despite having a meaningful message, its only lyrics are "Television, rules the nation" and this chorus is repeated over fifteen times in the space of 3 minutes. The instrumental side of things parallel the lyrics in their repetition. I think the style of the song, in this way, helps convey the message, but from a musical standpoint, all I hear is a single chorus stretched out and repeated again and again for entire song.

Message and meaning, while contributing to the power of a song, does not make its music good or bad. Music, in its simplest form, is ordered variation in pitch and tempo. I did not hear much of that, and therefore would label it a bad song, and not one I would be happy to listen over and over to.
