We probably won't find out what happened to Revan. After all Star Wars: The Old Republic takes place 300 years after the events of the Knights of the Old Republic games. Any information will probably be in the Jedi Temple in the archive memory, but I doubt we will find out. Best to wait for Knights of the Old Republic III comes out. Hope it takes place during the events of the last two games. Thank you for reading.

Am I the only one who thinks they should make a game that involves us playing as Revan and have it be about how Revan tried to stop the Sith Empire but failed? I think that'd make a great game and it would finally bring us fans the absolute closure.

It is clearly defined in timeline 7 that Sith rushed the impending invasion....my opinion is that Revan made a sacrifice and inflicted a heavy blow to the Sith!

lucas arts already said that revan "failed" in his attempt to stop the true sith, he only prolonged their conquest of the galaxy for 500 years.

revan actually done same things as anakin, he was young prospective padawan who wont to listen council decision, he wants to increase his power to make good things in galaxy. but to much greedy and passion, with mix of called from dark side powers and trying to fix problems easy way doomed both of them. revan was realize his mistake to redeem yourself while he still can make redemption for his crimes, but anakin didnt have same luck until his born son - luke, came to redeem him just before death

exactly this is why in Kotor 1 when Master Dorak told me "Revans tale explained how even the greatest of the jedi can fall to the dark side" its like stfu Revan didnt "fall to the dark side"if anything he rised to the light he wasnt looking for the star forge for conqeuring he used it to use a armada to protect the galaxy isnt that something jedi or anyone who follow the light does? they should have something like a holocron or something of remnants of revan or just bring Revan back to TOR.

My opionin,

As they have explained, each class will have an insanely indepth story or lore to discover. I believe the Siths side and how they say (the REAL sith have emerged from no where ). That HAS to be an answer to peoples questions imo. Revan left to go find the Real Sith, Whether he was good or not, thats where he left, and your character follows revan in Sith Lords. So maybe they did end up returning? With the REAL sith? hence the siths return? What do you all think?

FYI for anyone who doesn't know, this game takes place several hundred years after KotOR 2, and it says Revan never returned.

They never said, however what actually happened. For all we know he pulled an Obi-Wan-Kenobi and is chillin in the background lol

But whatever happens, Revan was the only person (I know of) who was able to control the dark side of the force, not the other way around. He set the stage for us to fight the TRUE Sith, not him.

I think there is a reason behind it.. Why they don't tell us i mean. I think both Revan and the exile has a big role to play in the upcoming MMO... They're both pretty 1337 and powerful Jedi.. maybe they still live.

Revan sought to call an army of Jedi and Sith to fight the True Sith at the end of KOTOR2, and that's a perfect lead in to The Old Republic.

If you feel bad about Revan's fate, don't. He still stopped the Mandalorian Wars who were driven against the Republic as pawns by the True Sith. He helped strengthen the Republic through war, and defeated his friend turned destructive Sith and his armies. The Sith attack came 300 years after Revan and the exile left, they must have done SOMETHING right.

As a KOTOR fan, I thank you for posting this vid, since it starts up a great dialogue for something I am sure many

"fans" have gnawing away at them: WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO REVAN!? He was only the central figure to the story! Hello!? Perhaps the Exile caught up with him and they managed to STALL the Sith invasion? We'll just have to wait and see. Great idea for a book, though. Also, maybe besides HK we can see T3 as well? Here's hoping. We fans need closure! Don't build us up & not deliver!

This is awesome vid! And yeah, ellio is right... I doubt Revans in this game. 2 reasons:

1) Revan went to the unknown regions of space to try and stop this ''evil threat,'' and the threat returned to the Galaxy, and Revan didnt---probably meaning he failed

2) This game is bout 300 years after KOTOR 2... how would he still physicially be alive?

the directors explained that they are going to make a bunch of missons/quests to explain what happened to revan. But i think this is how they are planning to do this, They are going to have some special item that drops off from a boss and it starts the chain quests explainning the disapperence of Revan.

I hope that's true. To deny the knowledge to the fans of WHAT HAPPENED TO REVAN (and/or supporting cast) would be a huge slap in the face. I know I'm dying to know. KOTOR was a GREAT series for several reasons. Let's hope it gets the treatment it deserves (fingers crossed). Looks like like HK-47 is a real possibility in this one...will be cool to see him at this point in the timeline. And apparently, Revan failed to stop the Sith invasion, 'cuz it STILL happened. He's a forceuser... And this is in sci-fi... The emperor of the sith in the game is several thousands of years old. And Revan didn't deny the Dark Side, he/she is abit of both. I think he's still alive. Yoda lived for almost a thousand years as well..

Bioware said that, they will include the answers to both games in tor. you guys need to research more. If you want the answers, you'll be able to find them, but you must seek them in-game. Because of the mmo, people who has never played the kotor series, they will not introduce them to it. if you are a die hard fan of kotor, no matter what, nothing will stop you from searching for the answers. And im sure they won't be hard to find, the interest in continuing the search is in player

Revan won't be appearing in KotOR MMO. This is known for sure. As Kreia implys, he only become the Dark Lord to stop a greater evil.

The KotOR MMO development team announced the true Sith Empire (the ancient Sith species) had been rebuilding in the unknown regions, and has returned to crush the Republic.

That is the greater evil Revan intended to stop. And the fact that they've successfully restored themselves in this game tells me Revan failed to stop them.
