  • wow haha i have the exact same truck.89 toyota pickup with 4in lift with grey primer over the dark red stock paint. Sexy

  • pretty sweet rig buddy !

  • How much lift?

  • @mvirocKoRn 4 inch suspension (pro comp stage2) w/ 2 inch body lift

  • awesome yota man! what lift did you do for the front end?

  • That's a sweet Yota. I fixed my wiring. Took off the flaps. I'm gonna get some goof off. And get rid of the decals. And take off the rear Nerf bumper. I'll take it off the road after the first snow. Cause I need some tires. I'm thinking 33"-35" . I'll need a lift too. It's so good on gas compared to a F250 4x4. And it still gets looks and compliments. Great trucks.

  • @joedrummer2010 __ i dont know where u live but nahh bro... definatly not.. and too bad toyota pickups are the best light truck you can buy

  • It IS in really nice shape, though.....

  • @joedrummer2010 ____ thanks

  • true thing of beauty.!

    amazing truck man.

  • got the gangsta lean goin on

  • Trucks amazing I want one bad but there not cheap , might have to settle with a ranger or Nissan or sumtin, but yotas r better n mud and more reliable than the other trucks

  • awesome truck! sorry you probably have gottin this before i just didnt want to have to look through all your comments. what size lift tires and kind ? 16" rims?

  • @cvcaliboy87 15x10 inch wheels, 33x12.50 Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's, and ProComp Stage 2_4"lift 2"body

  • Damn man, love it.

I got a 89 too, has 375k miles on the original motor ha.

Its also rusted to hell though.. wish mine looked like yours!

  • so did you paint that yourself? if so looks amazing!!

how did you do it if you did?

  • @GLAMISFREAK150 yeah i just sanded it and primered it.. but i put a new coat of primer on every now and then to keep it fresh looking

  • @FroBro28 damn that came out good then. is it a four cylinder?

  • @GLAMISFREAK150 nope. it's a v6 5 speed

  • are those rancho 9000's? or rancho 9000xl? how it perform with the leafs?

  • @candyman2911 i think they were 5000's

  • finally someone with the pro comp stage 2 lift, how do you like it? i was waiting for some one with the stage 2 so i could ask them about it lol

  • @100traxxas i love it never had any problems. solid and still allows the truck to handle on the highway like it would stock.. for 9 hundred bucks i thought it was worth it.

  • sweet truck man mines a single cab i just dont know if it would look that good lifted tht high.. are those wheels the crager soft eights? thats what im thinking on getting

  • how did was it to lift it

  • sick im lookin into gettin one just like your's....YOTA'S ARE BADASS!!!!!!

  • sick truck.. man i got an 87.. n im a just start workin on it

  • Nice color, I was thinking about the same layout for my HJ61

  • I got a 93 with mudflaps! It's pretty gay.I think I'll get rid of the flaps immediately. Plus something is gone with the wiring.

  • @tekren6 i had a problem with mine it kept blowing tail lights and fuses i couldnt figure it out so i eventually replaced the whole fuse block under the dash and everything worked great after that

  • @tekren6 you can get a ticket for not having mud flaps in some towns

  • @ojoj626 i even have them and got a citation for the flaps not being big enough on my yota

  • you should paint it gun metal gray, it would look sick

  • hehe sorry man had to say it. nice truck though I also have an '89 (stock) with some vids

  • that is such a sweet truck man, i definatly want to get one at some point

  • Kind of a beater but mine was worse and I loved it. They are better when they're all beat to shit. Miss my old truck.

  • dude sweet truck, but where did the gas door go?

  • @ksoccerhead its' in the rear fender well on the inside of the bed

  • where you from? northern california right? me too and i have an 89 yota

  • yup yup Vacaville

  • 89 is a damn good year.

  • I have solid axle on my 94, I run 35's and no steering stabilizer, it does 70 on the freeway with no handling issues

  • My S.A.S. '93 does fine too, I run a hydro assist high steer with a modified factory pump, so now it cavitates and squalls at anything over idle, lol, you can actually hear it in my vids. Turns the locked front axle with ease, though. I like his 'yota in the "all business" primer gray and black rock crawler wheels.... looks tough! You guys shouldn't attack him for staying with the ifs, if it's not a trail rig, it will be fine. I wend solid because mine will live on the trail. It's still a 'yota!

  • that is fucking sweet!!

  • thanks!

  • whats wrong with solid axles?cant he just put a sway bar and quick disconnect on it???

  • thank you verry fukin much, atleast somebody knows what they're talkin about

  • i dont know what your committing too?

what did i say? cant find my comment...

  • nice truck meng ^^

  • ahaha are you stupid?

oh wait you must bee cause in every jeep, most toyotas, dodges and modern 4x4 trucks you dumb fuck they have a friggin solid axle! durka durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr get your shit straight before you try an dish it!

  • false. dumb ass.

  • omg your stupid 2

try goin to school for 2 years before u tell me somthin i already know

  • or maybe you should check your facts. modern 4x4s dont have sa. the wrangler is the only jeep that still has it. and toyotas have ifs. idk about dodge and dont really care. sa has its place in rock serious roading and rock crawling but ifs all 99.9% of people need. much smoother ride.

  • durka fuckin durr, wahoo tryin to be right again i can see,

dodge has a sa in modern trucks

and not JUST THE JEEP WRANGLER hasa sa in it today

and ifs is fucking stupid, u get no articulation out of it, just one wheel goin up an down, thats why they call it INDEPENDANT dumbshitt,

and u cant say its a much smoother ride, my 83 with a solid axle an 7" of lift was way softer than my 89 4runner with 3" ifs susp lift that was obscenely expensive.....

  • i dont remember arguing which was better. i simply stated that contrary to what you said, most modern 4x4s do not have sa. and yes... it is just the wrangler in the jeep line, i didnt say only the wrangler period out of all manufacturers.

  • no new stcok toyota in the us has a solid axle!

  • Comment removed

  • @anonymous11228 they stopped putting in straight axles in 85. 86 went to independent front suspension. Asshole.

  • Over here in New Zealand i've seen 92s with solids

  • daaam new zealand??! im in Vacaville California. crazy

  • What kind of rims and tires are these?? And size? I have a 91 and i wanna do the same thing.

    Looks sick man

  • i agree with you i dont really like ifs.. unless you prerunner your truck then ifs is soo sick ahaha.. such a smooth ride and handles so much better

  • paint it black and this truck will look so awesome

  • it was black... a couple times

  • What size lift and tires is that? looks like a 4 inch with 33s. I have a 93 yota and i want to lift it the same way as yours.

  • dude, u should put some fendor flars on it. it would look bad ass

  • tis truck has nohing and looks clean nice ruck

  • what lift you have on it?

  • @lacombboy pro comp stage 2

  • Also is that 22re or a 3.slow?

  • @79Datson v 6 5 speed

  • That truck looks good in primer.

  • Nice truck

  • the only thing i did was pressure wash & sand. then i sprayed it with that can paint u get at kragen that is like 500 degrees tested and has a lil ceramic in it.. thats about it. maybe do it once every 3years.. haha fuck haters tho.. c me

  • nice truck man

  • that truck looks awesome man, my 93 has pretty much the same lift on it with 31" tires...i love my toy =)

  • Your frame looks like it's in really good shape. Did you do anything to it?

  • yeap i painted it

  • what kind of wheels are those?

  • @zb1984 just rock crawler brand. 55 bucks each very strong

  • what kinda rims you got on there?

  • good lookin truck what size tires and lift do you have

  • used to have 36's and then 35's but now it has 33 inch goodyears. 4 inch procomp stage2lift and a 2 inch body lift.

  • very clean car, looks like it would be alot of fun wheeling
