Don't forget she was the girl in "Atonement" too and way outshined Keira Knightly as far as I'm concerned. I do feel like she keeps getting type cast as the quiet reserved yet pensive girl. Maybe that's b/c i didn't see Lovely Bones... whatever. Can't wait to see this movie - looks fun. :D

What I can't figure out is who is this movie's target audience? As you demonstrated from your "Salt" review men can't accept female action heroes. It's not really aimed at young or teen girls. Seriously who wants to see this movie?

@binioslaw If this were an art house film I'd see your point, but I'm an enterainment journalist I write about feature films and studios and I KNOW they would never produce and release a big budget picture like this just for art's sake. They'd want to be sure to make some money off it (or at least not lose any).

Ok fair enough,I see your point.I just cringe everytime I realize movies with each year, are less about quality and more about money.Maybe it was always like that,but the movies were simply...better? But I digress.To answer your question-in my opinion this movie is for mature fans of action movies.You have action, plot(that little detail that sometimes is left out!),intense music,and star power(Bana,Blanchett) for the sceptics. It's like 'Sucker Punch",but this time you care.

I think the score was one of the best things about this movie, but I enjoyed the whole thing. Especially the long trackshot fight scene with Eric Bana in the subway.
