What is it with these war dances? The All Blacks' Haka as well? They are done only to intimidate which is unsporting. Rugby is a game of respect and chivalry. One does his best on the pitch physically while still respecting the other team. The war dances should be outlawed.

The haka is a challenge issued to a worthy opponent. I feel that it adds to the frisson of the game a great deal more than cheerleaders ever could. If I went to an England/Ireland game with New Zealand i would be disappointed if the Haka was not performed

@Avenmarc I've seen the Haka cause the other team to become so angry that some of the players actually start fighting with the All Blacks during the dance. I remember one man was sent off the pitch for it. It is clear that the Haka is at the least irritating to the opposition, and as it has nothing to do with Rugby, I don't know why it is allowed.
