  • Wow now I am between this and the fuji x10, this is very nice

  • Much niftier than I expected a few months ago, honestly. It looks like a very solid, well rounded camera. There are a lot of advances I see here that would've kept me from going Nikon, had they been implemented on an SLR.

Also, I believe Nikon's new tiny ILC is going to support high-speed shooting at reduced resolution, maxing out the bandwidth on the image sensor... I'd love to see that here... I'd love to see that everywhere, really.

  • I was like amazed throughout the entire video, until I saw the hideous alien-like flash popping out of the camera! xD LOLOLOL

  • Could you tell me the size of the sensor ? Is it the same than the K-r ? 12 MPx CMOS, looks like it's close. Or is it a new Sony one ? I was wondering if those you use weren't in fact the famous ExMOR CMOS Sensor, but without saying it. Could you reply to me about this ? If not openly, tell me secretly, I swear I won't speak of it if it's forbidden to know it.

Have a nice day, and the Pentax Q is a great camera, you could be proud of it.

  • @IceFritzLanger Not even close. The Q has a very small sensor, like a compact camera.

  • @IceFritzLanger The PENTAX Q uses a 12.4 megapixel (effective) backlit CMOS sensor with a primary color filter and integrated Shake/Dust Reduction sensor-shift system. The sensor size is 1/2.3” (6.16mm (W) x 4.62mm (H)). Backlit sensors can offer inherently improved efficiency and low-light performance.

  • @pentaxian1

    Thank you very much.

  • @IceFritzLanger The sensor is much much smaller. The K-r is APS-C and has a crop factor compared to full frame of 1.5x. The Q has a crop factor of 5.5. Nothing close to the same. Still a nice camera though, but it's a compact camera with the sensor of a compact camera.

  • Arf :) too late, I bought a K-r, say thanks to all the people involved in the process of creation .

    Thank you for existing, Pentax.

  • YES! IM FIRST!
