I've been there it like a hundred miles off the coast. I'n not sure exactly how far but it took us like 6 hours to get there. We got there in the morning and filmed the whole day. It was killer but nothing like Jaws on a big day. Check out the Jaws vid on my home page. That day it was like 65ft. all day long. The water is blue, warm and clear. Cortes was brown cold and murky. Ya gotta see Jaws brah, come in DEC.
