  • Y not just use sheep sheers? you be done in 2 minutes

  • i love it

  • Quickest way to make a hat with the fur is just to carry the rabbit on your head. =)

  • Any reason electric razors/clippers aren't use?

  • @Glorfinniel If electric razors are used, the fur quality when grown back in may not be as good as it was before. From what I understand. It's the same thing when you have a rabbit that pulls fur out of itself(nesting doe or stressed rabbit, etc), the fur quality is reduced when it grows back in.

  • Can you do this to a Jersey Woolie? I just want to get rid of the knots and let him grow a new coat.

  • @MrFantabulousJohn yes you can

  • Very informative! I love the video!

  • I am disappointed to hear that you miss out on the most productive angora rabbit breed of all breeds: GERMAN angora rabbit

They produce considerable more fibre than the 4 breeds of 5 you name.

Especially when talking about fiber harvestin g this is a shame- German angora's are lovely BIG rabbits with an extremely dense coat. The scissors you use on the rabbit here wouldn't go through the dense coats of the Germans.

  • @Spinkamer It isn't recognized by the ARBA thats why she left it out.

  • @Spinkamer I love my German.

  • Great tips!
