@Glorfinniel If electric razors are used, the fur quality when grown back in may not be as good as it was before. From what I understand. It's the same thing when you have a rabbit that pulls fur out of itself(nesting doe or stressed rabbit, etc), the fur quality is reduced when it grows back in.
I am disappointed to hear that you miss out on the most productive angora rabbit breed of all breeds: GERMAN angora rabbit
They produce considerable more fibre than the 4 breeds of 5 you name.
Especially when talking about fiber harvestin g this is a shame- German angora's are lovely BIG rabbits with an extremely dense coat. The scissors you use on the rabbit here wouldn't go through the dense coats of the Germans.

Quickest way to make a hat with the fur is just to carry the rabbit on your head. =)
